  • Patent number: 12259958
Abstract: Connected computing enables the use of highly diverse environments that support operating frameworks for contemporary civilization. But computing productivity and trustworthiness are undermined by such environments' largely inchoate organization. These environments and their identity infrastructures are fragmented, and unnecessarily unreliable, insecure, and insufficiently informative due to current computing entity (e.g., resource) identification infrastructure design, which lacks root identification reliability. Such reliability is enabled herein by a fundamentally accurate and authenticity ensuring, near-existential or existential quality, biometrically and liveness based, portable identification and provenance infrastructure. Such an infrastructure provides ubiquitously available identification information that can be used universally for identification processes.

  • Patent number: 12249316
Abstract: A speech recognition platform configured to receive an audio signal that includes speech from a user and perform automatic speech recognition (ASR) on the audio signal to identify ASR results. The platform may identify: (i) a domain of a voice command within the speech based on the ASR results and based on context information associated with the speech or the user, and (ii) an intent of the voice command. In response to identifying the intent, the platform may perform a corresponding action, such as streaming audio to the device, setting a reminder for the user, purchasing an item on behalf of the user, making a reservation for the user or launching an application for the user. The speech recognition platform, in combination with the device, may therefore facilitate efficient interactions between the user and a voice-controlled device.

  • Publication number: 20250063669
Abstract: A battery system includes a plurality of non-cylindrical shaped battery cells arranged on, and physically affixed to, a flexible printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB may include a bend axis that facilitates folding of the flexible PCB to form an upper portion of the flexible PCB and a lower portion of the flexible PCB. A central stiffener may be positioned between the upper portion and the lower portion of the flexible PCB using an adhesive foam tape to form a battery assembly. The battery system may include a flexible housing with an internal cavity that receives the battery assembly. The central stiffener, and the adhesive foam tape, may provide a degree of rigidity and/or absorption to the PCB to reduce localized deformation of the PCB when the battery system experiences shock forces and to prevent damage to components of the battery assembly. The stiffener may be formed from non-metallic material.

  • Patent number: 12224757
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing jitter in a phase-locked loop (PLL). Clock signals provided to the PLL are resampled into the voltage domain of the VCO in the PLL rather than being merely level shifted into that voltage domain or input directly from digital domain clock dividers as in the prior art. The resampling is done with flip-flops in the analog domain using a faster synchronous clock in each case, and results in cleaner clock edges being presented to the PLL than those provided by the digital circuitry alone. A divided input clock signal is resampled using the undivided input clock, while a divided feedback clock signal is resampled using the feedback clock signal itself, i.e., the output of the VCO in the PLL. This removes jitter caused by the processing of clock signals in the digital voltage domain and thus reduces the jitter in the output signal.

  • Publication number: 20250025819
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed methods and apparatus of a V-Bank filtration system capable of maintaining desired air flow rates while effectively filtering the air. These methods and apparatus charge particles and then capture those particles in a filter medium. Once captured in the filter medium, micro-organisms are exposed to high energy electric fields that may degrade and ultimately destroy the captured micro-organisms. Electric fields generated within portions of the V-Bank filter apparatus may also be contained within the portions of the filter apparatus based on exterior parts of these portions being grounded at Earth ground potential. Magnetic fields (or electro-magnetic fields) associated with the generated electric fields may also be contained within the portions of the apparatus based on the exterior parts of these portions being grounded.

  • Publication number: 20250022532
Abstract: A method of modeling enhancer activity obtains a training dataset in electronic form. The dataset comprises a plurality of training enhancers and, for each such enhancer, a corresponding measured amount of activity of the enhancer in each of one or more states. Each enhancer is a tandem repeat. A model comprising a plurality of parameters is trained by inputting each training enhancer into the model. Upon input, the model applies the parameters to the training enhancer to generate, as model output, a corresponding predicted activity of the training enhancer for a first state of the one or more states. The plurality of parameters is refined based differentials between corresponding measured and predicted amounts of activity in the first state for each of the training enhancer. A plurality of test enhancers is generated using the trained model and their activity tested thereby modeling enhancer activity.
