  • Patent number: 11975424
Abstract: An adaptor for a fastener driver assembly employs a bi-positionable angle guide assembly mounted to a head having an entry reference surface defining an opening for a fastener. The adaptor provides a proper location and entry angle for the fastener for implementing various structural connections. A pivotal angle guide has a pair of reference engagement edges functionally configured to engage either an upper horizontal member or a lower horizontal member. A locator having a location reference is mounted to the guide assembly. In one mode, the reference edges, together with the location reference, define a proper entry location and normal angle for connecting a horizontal member, which may be either an upper plate or a lower plate, to a rim board or other structural member. The selected adaptor position is achieved by securing the adaptor in one of two stable angular positions relative to the drive axis of the fastener driver assembly.

  • Patent number: 11927075
Abstract: There is provided a bottomhole assembly that is deployable downhole within a wellbore via a conveyance system. The conveyance system includes a fluid conductor for effecting fluid communication between the surface and the bottomhole assembly. The bottomhole assembly includes an actuator tool and a shifting tool. In some embodiments, for example, the actuator tool is disposed for receiving transmission of a compressive force being applied to the conveyance system from the surface, and transmitting the compressive force for actuating the shifting tool. In some embodiments, for example, the actuator includes an anchoring tool configured for hydraulic actuation, via fluid pressure forces communicated by the fluid conductor of the conveyance system, for becoming retained relative to the wellbore string.

  • Publication number: 20070066096
Abstract: A clip for securing a board to a support member. The clip includes a body defining an aperture therethrough and a tab projecting from the body. The tab advantageously has a first position wherein the tab inner surface is disposed at a first angle to the body inner surface. In this embodiment the tab is elastically movable to a second position wherein the tab inner surface is disposed at a second angle to the body inner surface that is less than the first angle. In some embodiments the clip is adapted for use with boards having opposing, longitudinally extending protruding and inset sides. The clip is disposed over the protruding side and an elongated fastener is disposed through the clip and the protruding side and into the support member. The inset side of a second board adjacent the secured protruding side can be biased toward the support member by contact of that side with the clip tab. Also a system and method of using the clip to secure a board to a support member.
