An illustrative embodiment includes a vehicle data system. The vehicle data system is configured to determine a trip to be taken from an origin to a destination in a vehicle. The vehicle data system is configured to identify available routes of travel for the vehicle from the origin to the destination. The vehicle data system is configured to perform a comparison of the available routes to determine a recommended route presenting a reduced likelihood of the vehicle experiencing a loss-related incident. The vehicle data system is configured to present the recommended route to an operator of the vehicle and to receive a selection from the operator as to whether the operator accepts the recommended route.

An evaluation system is configured to receive the portable driving data and the vehicle driving data, assign a risk level to at least one event included in the vehicle driving data, and correlate the vehicle driving data with the portable driving data to identify a pattern in the portable driving data that is associable with the risk level.

The driving data processor determines if the driving score qualifies for a driving insurance offer from an insurance provider. The driving insurance offer is communicated via an interface in response to the score qualifying for the driving insurance offer.
