  • Publication number: 20080154642
Abstract: Software and a system created by the software with its application are applied in the healthcare setting for various patients corresponding to the CMS or JCAHO core measures. The software and its system captures necessary patient data related to future P4P initiatives designed by federal authorities, private payors or other organizations plus report safety events. The software allows real-time data entry at the bedside, during patient care processes, from admission to discharge. The system provides real-time feedback to practitioners on their performance as well as hospital benchmarking. The software can be used on a variety of hardware devices, and may gather data from various hospital information systems.

  • Publication number: 20060028335
Abstract: A server system for remote monitoring includes a wireless communication interface, a processor, and a storage device. The wireless communication interface receives at least one data packet over wireless communications from a remote monitoring system. The processor processes the data packet including sensor information from a sensor coupled to the remote monitoring system. The storage device stores the sensor information.

  • Publication number: 20060028336
Abstract: A remote monitoring system includes a sensor interface, a processor, and a wireless communication interface. The sensor interface receives sensor information from a sensor coupled to the sensor interface. The processor processes the sensor information into at least one data packet for transferring to a server. The wireless communication interface transfers the data packet over wireless communications to the server.

  • Publication number: 20050083197
Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently collecting data at a remote device with a device that is able to use both analog and digital signals, especially those that are compliant with serial data interface twelve (SDI-12) protocol. The collected data is compressed into a packet and sent to a base station where it is made available. Additionally, the present invention is able to produce alarms in response to the detection of an alarm condition. This data is able to be viewed from virtually anywhere.

  • Patent number: 6616489
Abstract: Motorized weed-trimming device can contain a screw or water-wheel attachment. The screw-adaptation part may be in the form of a grain auger, post-hole digger, drill bit, water-screw, for example, a propeller, and so forth and the like, and the water-wheel may be in the form of a side wheel type paddle water-wheel and so forth and the like. Inboard or outboard styles may be employed for or in combination with watercraft. Preferably, the attachment terminates with the propeller so as to form an outboard motor, say, with the weed-trimming device being gasoline-powered.

  • Patent number: 6244133
Abstract: A cam and follower system for use with an automatic doffing system of a rotor spinning machine. The system includes a cover member for covering the cam lobes of a cam gear found in the automatic doffing system of a rotor spinning machine. The system also includes a cam follower for connection to the automatic doffing system. The cover member has cam surfaces which are complimentary to and which act to renew the original cam surfaces of the cam gear's cam lobes. The cam follower is adapted to engage and ride upon the cover member's cam surfaces during operation of the automatic doffing system.
