Abstract: Software and a system created by the software with its application are applied in the healthcare setting for various patients corresponding to the CMS or JCAHO core measures. The software and its system captures necessary patient data related to future P4P initiatives designed by federal authorities, private payors or other organizations plus report safety events. The software allows real-time data entry at the bedside, during patient care processes, from admission to discharge. The system provides real-time feedback to practitioners on their performance as well as hospital benchmarking. The software can be used on a variety of hardware devices, and may gather data from various hospital information systems.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently collecting data at a remote device with a device that is able to use both analog and digital signals, especially those that are compliant with serial data interface twelve (SDI-12) protocol. The collected data is compressed into a packet and sent to a base station where it is made available. Additionally, the present invention is able to produce alarms in response to the detection of an alarm condition. This data is able to be viewed from virtually anywhere.

Abstract: A cam and follower system for use with an automatic doffing system of a rotor spinning machine. The system includes a cover member for covering the cam lobes of a cam gear found in the automatic doffing system of a rotor spinning machine. The system also includes a cam follower for connection to the automatic doffing system. The cover member has cam surfaces which are complimentary to and which act to renew the original cam surfaces of the cam gear's cam lobes. The cam follower is adapted to engage and ride upon the cover member's cam surfaces during operation of the automatic doffing system.
