    Abstract: This invention relates to the hydroprocessing of naphtha with removal of mercaptan from product. Naphtha feedstock is hydrotreated and hydrocracked. Sulfur-containing contaminants, notably C5+ recombinant mercaptans, are then selectively removed from the hydrocracked naphtha by selective extraction or adsorption.
