  • Publication number: 20240428407
Abstract: We describe an imaging device for measuring a profile of an object. The device includes a plurality of moveable parts, where each moveable part has a first end to contact an object and a second end comprising fluorescent or phosphorescent material. The device further includes an enclosure to hold the moveable parts such that the moveable parts can move parallel to each other within the enclosure to vary their respective positions according to a profile of the contacted object. The device further comprises a light source to stimulate light emission from the material and a camera configured to obtain an image of the second ends of the moveable parts based on the light emission.

  • Patent number: 11315012
Abstract: Systems and techniques for neural network training are described herein, a training set may be received for a neural network. Here, the neural network may comprise a set of nodes arranged in layers and a set of inter-node weights between nodes in the set of nodes. The neural network may then be iteratively trained to create a trained neural network. An iteration of the training may include generating a random unit vector and creating an update vector by calculating a magnitude for the random unit vector based on a degree that the random unit vector matches a gradient—where the gradient is represented by a dual number. The iteration may continue by updating a parameter vector for an inter-node weight by subtracting the update vector from a previous parameter vector of the inter-node weight. The trained neural network may then be used to classify data.

  • Patent number: 10600072
Abstract: A device that analyzes advertising effectiveness can include an asset repository that stores a plurality of smart objects, an entertainment interface that accepts one or more smart objects from the plurality of smart objects, an event stream processor that receives information from the one or more smart objects and provides metrics based on the information from the one or more smart objects, and a BIND engine that receives information from the one or more smart objects and one or more databases and provides decisions and metrics based on the information from the one or more smart objects and one or more databases.

  • Publication number: 20190324632
Abstract: Messaging applications are enhanced with drawn images or words that appear on a communication device screen alongside messages. Users can express themselves more creatively as well as visually reference previously sent or received messages, such as by drawing an arrow to them or circling them. Graphic inputs are also operable to alter a sent message so as to convey additional or corrective meaning. By extending the drawing field outside the individual messages, this combination of messages and graphic inputs creates a third communication functionality not present in either messaging or drawing alone.

  • Patent number: 10408237
Abstract: A hydraulic system for a mobile work vehicle is configurable in a hybrid mode and a hydrostatic mode. The hydraulic system includes a pump/motor, a propel circuit, a pump, a hydraulic accumulator, and an accessory circuit. The pump/motor is adapted to exchange power with a drive train of the mobile work vehicle. The propel circuit is adapted to exchange hydraulic fluid power with the pump/motor. The pump is adapted to transfer power from a prime mover of the mobile work vehicle to the propel circuit. The hydraulic accumulator is adapted to exchange hydraulic fluid power via an accumulator isolation valve with the propel circuit when the hydraulic system is configured in the hybrid mode. The accessory circuit is adapted to receive hydraulic fluid power from the hydraulic accumulator, at least when the hydraulic system is configured in the hydrostatic mode and the accumulator isolation valve is closed.

  • Patent number: 10399572
Abstract: A method of propelling a vehicle with a hybrid mode and a hydrostatic mode includes determining if a current propulsion mode is hybrid and if a selected mode is hydrostatic. A first transition mode is entered if the selected mode is hydrostatic and the current mode is hybrid. An engine-pump displacement target is set in the first transition mode. The method may include determining if the current mode is hybrid, hydrostatic, or a no-propulsion mode and if the selected mode is hybrid, hydrostatic, or no-propulsion. The engine-pump displacement target may be matched to a system consumption and an accumulator isolation valve closed when an engine-pump output matches the system consumption in the first transition mode. The method may include entering a second transition mode if the selected mode is hybrid and the current mode is hydrostatic.

  • Patent number: 9989042
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit architecture for a work vehicle includes a pump, a work circuit, a propel circuit, and a circuit selector. The work circuit is connected to an actuator for driving a work component of the work vehicle. The propel circuit includes a motor that is adapted to be connected to a drive train of the work vehicle. The propel circuit also includes an accumulator. The circuit selector selectively connects the pump to the work circuit and the propel circuit. The hydraulic circuit architecture is operable in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the propel circuit is connected to the pump and the work circuit is disconnected from the pump. In the second mode, the work circuit is connected to the pump and the propel circuit is disconnected from the pump. When the hydraulic circuit architecture is in the second mode, stored energy from the accumulator can be used to drive the motor to cause propulsion of the work vehicle.
