Abstract: Construction analytics is a method of objectively evaluating data from past and/or current construction projects to drive decision making to produce favorable outcomes. Specifically, data may be collected and stored for past and/or current construction projects to improve the safety, quality and productivity of future projects. The most common hazards may be predicted when a type of work is repeated and measures may be put into place to prevent the hazards from occurring again by using a data set produced from safety inspections, observations and incidents that are categorized by the type of work being performed. Mitigations may be implemented before performing a work activity and selecting problematic materials on a project by searching a database containing all of the deficiencies and non-conformance issues encountered in the past on the particular feature of work.
