  • Publication number: 20100325058
Abstract: Techniques for organizational networking for improving efficiency of organizations at performing various organizational tasks are disclosed. A method of organizational networking automatically updates content in an organizational network based on roles of members within an organizational hierarchy. A technique for creating a new subnetwork based on hierarchies associated with existing organizational subnetworks is also disclosed. An advertising engine distributes ads from a partner entity to members of an organization by way of another member of the organization to avoid direct transmission of third party marketing materials to members. A single electronic calendar is provided for an entire organization and may be updated and shared with other organizations automatically based on roles of members. Techniques disclosed herein increase efficiency for organizations and usability of networking tools for members.

  • Patent number: 5468276
Abstract: This invention pertains to a fertilizer and a process for producing the same which incorporates flyash, which is a by-product from the coal fired utility industry, with an organic fertilizing component comprising manure. The flyash and manure are mixed with the resulting mixture compressed by passing the mixture through a roller press thereby forming a sheet and then fracturing the sheet into chips or other particulate form. The water content of the mixture is controlled in an effort to produce particulates having high dry strength.

  • Patent number: 5362471
Abstract: This invention relates to an improved process for producing gypsum calcium sulfate dihydrate flakes from powdered gypsum calcium sulfate dihydrate obtained from the desulfurization of flue gas by the wet limestone process. The flakes have sufficient size and strength such that the gypsum calcium sulfate dihydrate can be handled and processed in conventional equipment commonly used by wallboard manufacturers and others in the construction industry, The intermediate calcium sulfate dihydrate from the desulfurization process is dewatered to about 5 to 12% by weight and then compressed into a thin sheet under a compaction or compression load of 4 tons force to 15 tons force per linear inch of sheet width. A linear speed of from 0.5 to 2.5 feet per second is maintained during compaction providing a compaction residence time of from about 0.2 to 1.2 seconds.

  • Patent number: 5235133
Abstract: The present disclosure sets forth a telephonic equipment facility for field installation of equipment connected to telephone cables. It comprises a partially buried cabinet or container constructed of multi layered materials, defining a bottom having a sloping floor for draining water to a trough, upstanding sidewalls and a top or roof. In addition, above the bottom and protruding from one of the sidewalls, there is an extending cowling sized to define a door opening which is positioned above the support ground. At the opposite end of the structure, there is an appended cabinet portion having internally located frame members for support of cables extending through openings into the housing so that conductor pairs can be serviced. Equipment is placed in the interior supported on bottom mounted runners and upstanding frame members.
