  • Publication number: 20240068217
Abstract: An air inducer assembly includes a housing having a chamber, an outlet located downstream from the chamber for connection to an inlet of a flush tank, a water inlet and an air inlet in communication with the chamber, and a tube extending into the chamber and toward the outlet. The tube has a passage therethrough extending from the air inlet through the tube to place the air inlet in communication with the outlet, and air is drawn from the air inlet through the tube and into the outlet by a flow of the water past a distal end of the tube. The assembly further includes features such one or more ribs extending from the tube to the wall(s) defining the chamber and spaced around a periphery of the tube and/or the tube having a distal end that extends out of the chamber and into the outlet.

  • Patent number: 6880895
Abstract: A tailgate system for a dump body of a vehicle capable of operation in a plurality of modes includes a tailgate pivotally connected to side walls along an upper tailgate end for operation in a first mode and pivotally connected to one of the side walls along a tailgate side for operation in a second mode. To convert the tailgate from the first to the second mode of operation, a ball and socket are engaged forming a pivot point around which the tailgate can rotate in the second mode.

  • Patent number: 4548274
Abstract: A decorative housing for a fire extinguisher. A five sided box forms a cavity to receive and hold a fire extinguisher. A door or decorative cover is slidably mounted to the box adjacent the cavity and is movable from an up position closing the cavity and concealing the fire extinguisher to a down position revealing the fire extinguisher. A heat and smoke detector mounted to a clock frame above the box is connected to a source of electrical energy and in turn to a solenoid. The plunger of the solenoid normally extends into the door locking the door in the closed position. Activation of the detector withdraws the plunger allowing the door to slide downwardly. An audio alarm and light within the box cavity activate simultaneously upon the withdrawal of the plunger. A cord is connected to the plunger to allow manual withdrawal of the plunger and opening of the door.
