  • Publication number: 20240071586
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying and presenting prior findings data in a radiology review workflow, based on natural language processing (NLP) of unstructured radiology report text, are disclosed. In an example, prior findings are generated with operations including: receiving text from a prior radiology report prepared for a patient in a prior radiology study; processing the text with a trained NLP engine to classify discrete prior findings in the prior radiology study that identify observed condition(s) and characteristics of the observed condition(s); and outputting or presenting the prior findings, such as in a radiology review user interface. In an example, the radiology review user interface displays the observed condition(s) and the characteristic(s) of the observed condition(s) to a user (e.g., a radiologist), and can apply sorting, filtering, or grouping based on pathology phrases or attribute words associated with the observed conditions or the characteristics of such observed conditions.

  • Patent number: 7074201
Abstract: A measurement device includes a plurality of measurement belts and a plurality of side plates configured to be positioned around a user's body. A plurality of locking mechanisms each operable to adjustably couple one of the measurement belts and one of the side plates. The measurement device also includes a plurality of canting mechanisms coupling the measurement belts and the side plates. The canting mechanisms allow the associated measurement belt and side plate to rotate about associated pivots to allow the measurement belt and side plate to conform to user's body. The canting mechanisms also synchronize the movement of the side plate and the measurement belt such that movement of one causes an equivalent movement of the other. The point at which each measurement belt is coupled to the associated canting mechanism and the associated side plate is identifiable by one or more measurement indicators.

  • Publication number: 20030235481
Abstract: A torque lock/indicator including first and second members and a compression ring for sealingly contacting a surface of the first member. The first member has first and second contact surfaces and structure for generally axially accommodating a connector. The second member has a ring member and a plurality of extensions extending from the ring member, each extension has an angled first contact surface and a second contact surface proximate the first contact surface. The connector is tightened until the compression ring is compressed to a predetermined degree. As the compression ring is being compressed the first member first contact surface is slidingly displaced against the second member contact surface. When the connector has been tightened to a predetermined level of torque, the first member first contact surface has been displaced past the second member first contact surface and the first member second contact surface strikes the second member second contact surface generating a mechanical vibration.

  • Patent number: 6527949
Abstract: A man-made aquatic environment comprises a falls assembly and a skimmer assembly. The falls assembly has features designed to help the assembly blend into the surrounding landscape. The skimmer assembly has a removable bucket for holding filter media and other means for removing debris from the water before it is pumped from the skimmer to the falls assembly. Various features of the falls and skimmer assemblies are optimized for manufacturing and storage prior to installation.

  • Patent number: 5848696
Abstract: An elongate mass of material wrapped by a liner in which the liner is wrapped around the material with the liner inside surface facing the peripheral surface of the material, with first and second regions of the liner extending away from the material with the liner inside surface of the first region in unbonded contact with the liner inside surface of the second region so as to enclose the material with said liner. The material and the center region of the liner together form a core of the wrapped mass of material, and the first and second liner regions together form a tab of the wrapped mass of material. The wrapped mass of material includes a first portion and a second portion and is arranged such that the core of a second portion applies sufficient force to the tab of a first portion so as to maintain the mass of material enveloped by the liner at the first portion. Also presented are methods and apparatus for wrapping and unwrapping such material.
