  • Publication number: 20230390682
Abstract: An air cleaner assembly is disclosed. In one aspect, the air cleaner assembly includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet, and including an access opening between the inlet and outlet. The air cleaner also includes a filter cartridge received within the housing and covering the access opening. The air cleaner also includes a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism is movable between an unlocked position in which the filter cartridge can be installed and removed from the housing and a locked position in which the filter cartridge is secured within the housing. The filter cartridge and lock mechanism include interacting features allowing the lock mechanism to be moved from the unlocked position to the locked position only when the filter cartridge is installed within the housing.

  • Patent number: 9079196
Abstract: A reversible, multiple spray tip spray gun tip assembly includes a tip holder and a turret. In one embodiment, the tip holder has a turret opening and a fluid spray passage that is in communication with the turret opening. The turret has a barrel including a plurality of spaced apart spray tips and a handle to rotate the barrel within the turret opening. Either the tip holder or the turret includes one or more projections while the other of the tip holder or the turret includes a cam surface with which the one or more projections slideable engage such that rotating the turret relative to the tip holder causes the turret to translate relative to the tip holder and to align each of the spray tips with the fluid spray passage in a spray position and a clear position.

  • Patent number: 8439586
Abstract: A hand-held, battery powered liquid applicator having an on-board reservoir. An electric motor drives a piston in the reservoir via a pinion gear member and rack gear. A gear shifter may disengage the pinion gear member from the rack gear. A battery compartment may have a door has recess to enable a user to grasp a dry cell located farthest from the door. The rack gear may have modified profile teeth at the end of travel to allow the pinion gear member to slip when the piston is urged past the end of travel. The piston may have a length substantially equal to a characteristic length of the reservoir. Liquid may be drawn into the reservoir by powered or manual retraction of the piston and liquid may be delivered from the reservoir to an applicator head by powered or manual motion of the piston into the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20100206882
Abstract: A coolant tank for receiving a fluid from the cooling system of an internal combustion engine includes a pressurized tank having a pressurized reservoir configured to contain the fluid and an overflow tank integrated with the pressurized tank. The pressurized reservoir includes an inlet port configured to receive the fluid from the cooling system, an outlet port configured to direct the fluid from the pressurized reservoir to the cooling system, a fill neck in fluid communication with the pressurized reservoir, and a pressure cap removably coupled to the fill neck. The overflow tank includes an overflow reservoir maintained at atmospheric pressure and configured to receive overflow fluid from the pressurized reservoir when the liquid of the cooling system expands. At least a portion of the fill neck is positioned within the overflow reservoir.
