The audio notification system may include a sensor for sensing that the user has accessed the AV, and turns off the sound in response to the user accessing the AV. The audio notification may be generated according to one or more audio options, e.g., volume, pitch, or audio pattern.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for temperature regulation in an autonomous vehicle. In particular, systems and methods are provided for regulating the interior temperature of a delivery container in an autonomous vehicle. In various implementations, the delivery container includes one or more compartments, and a thermal management system is provided for regulating the temperature of each of the compartments.

The vehicle container unit may be mounted to a seat of a vehicle and may include space for transporting items within the vehicle container unit. Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for a system and method for facilitating autonomous delivery using a delivery assembly transported by an autonomous vehicle, the system and method can include determining a location of the delivery assembly and in response to determining the location of the delivery assembly, configuring a user interface to facilitate the autonomous delivery. The user interface has at least a point of origination configuration and a user configuration. In addition, the user interface can authenticate a user, allow the user to access one or more cubbies of the delivery assembly, and inform the user through one or more indicators on the user interface that the user can access a specific cubby.

The AV further includes a conveyor system controller that identifies a transport bag associated with a user and issues an instruction to the motor to move the transport bags along the conveyor system.

The delivery container may be accessed from either side of the vehicle, and may include a drawer for moving items from one side of the vehicle to the other, so that items may be easily accessed from either side.

The authentication system may first identify a human in the vicinity of the AV, and then compare a body position of the identified human to a model trained to determine if a human is performing the specific gesture. If the model determines that the identified human is performing the gesture, the AV authorizes the user to access the vehicle, e.g., to accept a delivery or to ride in the AV.
