Abstract: Methods and systems for solid state drives are provided, including assigning a first namespace to a first instance of a storage operating system and a second instance of the storage operating system for enabling read access to a first portion of a flash storage system by the first instance, and read and write access to the second instance; allocating a second namespace to the first instance for exclusive read and write access within a second portion of the flash storage system; generating, by the first instance, a request for the second instance to transfer a data object from the second portion owned by the first instance to the first portion; storing, by the second instance, the data object at the first portion; and updating metadata of the data object at the second portion, the metadata indicating a storage location at the second portion where the data object is stored.

Abstract: Systems/techniques that facilitate machine learning classification of object store workloads are provided. In various embodiments, a system can access a resource utilization descriptor associated with an object store. In various aspects, the system can generate, via execution of a machine learning model (e.g., a deep learning neural network, a random forest model), a classification label based on the resource utilization descriptor. In various instances, the system can perform one or more electronic actions based on the classification label. In various cases, the classification label can indicate/identify a computing fault of the object store, can indicate/identify resources of the object store that are being underutilized and/or overutilized, and/or can indicate whether a workload corresponding to the resource utilization descriptor could be properly transplanted to a different object store.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for hosting a key value store. A persistent storage backend is used to centrally host a key value store as disaggregated storage shared with a plurality of clients over a network fabric. A network storage appliance is connected to the plurality of clients over the network fabric, and is configured with a key value store interface. The key value store interface is configured to receive a key value command from a client. The key value store interface parses the key value command to identify a translation layer binding for a key value store targeted by the key value command. The key value store interface translates the key value command into a key value operation using the translation layer binding, and executes the key value operation upon the key value store.
