  • Patent number: 6089532
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a valve including a valve body defining an inlet port and an outlet port. The valve also includes a first diaphragm arranged and configured for opening and closing a fluid flow path between the inlet and outlet ports. The valve further includes a second diaphragm cooperating with the first diaphragm to enclose a chamber formed within the valve body. The valve is closed by applying an actuating pressure to an exterior side of the second diaphragm such that the second diaphragm mechanically causes the first diaphragm to close the fluid flow path between the inlet and outlet port.

  • Patent number: 6019124
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a valve assembly including a valve body and a poppet member for controlling flow through the valve body. The valve assembly also includes a valve seat adapted to interface with the poppet member to provide a fluid seal, and seat retaining member adapted to be compressed against the valve seat. Additionally, the valve assembly includes a deformable elastic spacer arranged and configured to axially compress the valve body and the seat retaining member together such that relative movement between such components is inhibited.

  • Patent number: 5667143
Abstract: A spray gun includes a barrel portion and a handle portion having a control lever pivotally mounted to a lower end of the handle controlling a valve system. The spray gun includes an interchangeable fitting for receiving two fluid lines. The lever is movable between a first lockable spray position, opening the valve system to spray one fluid, and a second spray position spraying two fluids.
