    Abstract: The present invention provides a reproducible and aesthetically pleasing granite-like simulated stone appearance to a thermoplastic substrate by blending therewith a concentrate comprising: a cellulosic short fiber or flock; and at least one dispersant aid. Thus, the present invention also relates to a method for imparting a simulated stone appearance to a thermoplastic substrate and to simulated stone articles comprising a major amount of a substrate thermoplastic and a minor stone simulating amount of a cellulosic short fiber or flock.
