The flag includes a motion detector or timer, a battery pack, circuitry to direct the playing of the noise, and a speaker. Alternatively, the flag includes a Bluetooth-enabled receiving device that will play a noise when a signal is received from a Bluetooth-enabled transmitting device.

Abstract: A dye sublimated synthetic burlap flag that includes the use of a synthetic burlap material made from polyethylene and the printing of a design upon the material using dye sublimation printing and high fastness inks. A method of creating such a flag includes creating a synthetic fabric to resemble burlap fabric using polyethylene fibers, printing a design on the synthetic fabric using high fastness ink, and incorporating the synthetic fabric into an article.

A flexible neck, having a first end and a second end, is connected to the second end of the stanchion at a first end thereof. At least one attachment device lies between the first and second end of the stanchion for attaching a decorative item to the stanchion. A luminary is connected to the second end of the flexible neck to provide illumination to the decorative item.

Abstract: A greeting card flag includes one or more panels removeably attached to a decorative flag in a specific pattern enabling the decorative flag and attached panel(s) to fold into a greeting card shape. A recipient can open and read the greeting card flag as one would a standard greeting card before removing the panel(s) and displaying the decorative flag as one would display a standard decorative flag. The greeting card flag may also include connected panels allowing for a recipient to remove the panels without changing the relative positions of the panels and further allowing a recipient to reassemble the panels into a greeting card. A foldable flag hanger may be inserted into an envelope. When unfolded, the hanger supports a flag for display or decoration.

Abstract: A flagpole includes a stanchion, a footer disposed at a bottom of the stanchion to be embedded in a surface, an upper segment disposed adjacent to atop end of the stanchion, and a lower segment disposed adjacent to the upper segment at a distance further from the top end of the stanchion than the upper segment. A curved segment connects the top end of the stanchion to the lower segment. A plurality of alphanumeric characters are disposable on the upper segment. The upper segment includes a material attractive to a magnetized material, and the alphanumeric characters include the magnetized material therein an that the alphanumeric characters are removably attachable to the upper segment.

Abstract: The present invention includes a flag display apparatus comprising a flag arm configured to support an edge of a flag and a base configured to attach to a flag pole, wherein the flag arm is secured to the base and wherein the base is configured to allow the flag arm to rotate around the flag pole. In any number of embodiments, the flag display apparatus further comprises a support ring and means for attaching the flag to the flag arm. Alternatively, a sleeve, loops or ties on a flag specially adapted for use with a flag display assembly can be used to secure the flag to the flag arm. In any number of embodiments, the flag pole fits into a mounting sleeve that is mounted onto a building or structure. The mounting sleeve can also be affixed to the ground for a vertical flag pole.
