  • Patent number: 11984148
Abstract: The address of victim rows may be determined based on rows that are accessed in a memory. The victim addresses may be stored and associated with a count for every time a victim row is “victimized.” When the count for a victim row reaches a threshold, the victim row may be refreshed to preserve data stored in the row. After the victim row has been refreshed, the count may be reset. When a victim row is accessed, the count may also be reset. The counts may be adjusted for closer victim rows (e.g., +/?1) at a faster rate than counts for more distant victim rows (e.g., +/?2). This may cause closer victim rows to be refreshed at a higher rate than more distant victim rows.

  • Patent number: 11911611
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for measuring an impedance of one or more target cells before and after an electroporation protocol has been applied to the one or more target cells. The result of the impedance measurement provides a feedback control that can be implemented during and/or after the electroporation protocol to customize the electrical treatment for a particular target cell or cellular tissue.

  • Publication number: 20150200524
Abstract: A modular power distribution system is provided for a tactical vehicle. The system includes a connector panel disposed within an attachment plate configured to be mounted to an interior surface of the tactical vehicle, a plurality of interface units disposed within the connector panel, and a plurality of signal source units corresponding to the interface units and accessible therefrom. The signal source units include at least one power supply unit and other signal source units each configured to supply signals via corresponding interfaces when connected to external electronic devices.

  • Publication number: 20020133385
Abstract: A system and method for forecasting future retail performance are described herein. The system includes a storage device that stores a sales history database, a weather history database, and a weather forecast database. An analyzer determines the extent to which past retail performance of a plurality of products at a plurality of locations was affected by weather using the sales history database and the weather history database. A configurator, coupled to the analyzer, estimates expected future retail performance of the products at the stores for a plurality of future time periods using the weather forecast database and results produced by the analyzer. A graphical user interface, coupled to the analyzer and the configurator, enables users to view and manipulate results produced by the analyzer and the configurator to thereby forecast future retail performance of the products at the locations.

  • Patent number: 4441954
Abstract: Disclosed are a new adhesive and a process for making wood laminates with the adhesive. In a preferred embodiment, the adhesive will comprise a phenol-formaldehyde condensation product having a molar ratio of phenol to formaldehyde in the range of 1:1.5 to 1:2.5, a sodium hydroxide catalyst, and from 5 to 50% bentonite clay based upon the phenol-formaldehyde condensation product solids. The preferred process employs the new adhesive to prepare laminates using high moisture content veneers, such as southern pine. The laminates exhibit average percent wood failures of from 85 to 98%.

  • Patent number: 4409375
Abstract: A method is described for reducing the amount of aldehyde liberated from aldehyde-containing resins during the production and subsequent use of products prepared with the resin by admixing bisulfite salt scavengers therewith. A method is also described for reducing airborne aldehydes from the environment by placing aqueous solutions of bisulfite salts in the aldehyde-containing environment.

  • Patent number: 4239577
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for making wood laminates from a plurality of wood plies having relatively high moisture contents. By employing a center ply having a moisture content of at least 3%, relatively high moisture content plies can be employed in the preparation of wood laminates without experiencing defective panels due to the blow out of steam built up during pressing. The outer plies can have moisture contents of as high as 25%. Additionally, interior plies other than the center ply can also have moisture contents similar to that of the center ply or can have moisture contents below that of the outer plies.
