The gates can be controlled by gate motors. A controller having a processor and memory, the processor executes instructions stored in the memory to activate the translation motors and the gate motors in a predetermined sequence to move the bin from a first tile to a second tile.

A portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer extends through the plurality of apertures in the soft-gel layer to contact the tissue site. The soft-gel layer forms a good seal with the tissue site and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer extending through the plurality of apertures forms a firm—but releasable—coupling with the tissue site.

The multi-port therapy unit includes a plurality of patient-side ports each fluidly coupled to a plurality of conduits and a fluid reservoir fluidly coupled to the plurality of ports. A plurality of pressure sensors are associated with the plurality of patient-side ports to determining a pressure associated with each conduit. A controller is operatively coupled to the plurality of pressure sensors to receive treatment pressure data, monitor pressure for each pressure sensor of the plurality of pressure sensors, and signal an alarm condition if the pressure is outside of a pre-selected range. The system includes a reduced-pressure source fluidly coupled to a dressing at each tissue site through the multi-port therapy unit.

The manifold layer can have a first side, a second side, and a thickness between the first side and the second side. The manifold layer can include a plurality of holes extending through the thickness of the manifold layer and being positioned at least in a first row and a second row. Each of the plurality of holes may have a hole length that is longer than and perpendicular to a hole width. The hole length of at least one of the holes in the first row may be positioned at an angle relative to the hole length of another of the holes in the second row. The manifold layer can be configured to prevent tissue in-growth and contract radially in all directions. Other apparatuses, dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed.
