Abstract: The present invention provides a diaper, diaper pad insert and/or a diaper wipe with active ingredients integrated therein, including ointments for treating diaper rash, baby oils and lotions for treating dry skin, and/or powder treatments for absorbing moisture, including baby powder, corn starch powders and the like. In a first embodiment, the invention provides a diaper having a active ingredients integrated therein comprising a skin-contact surface appointed for contact with an infant's bottom, at least one inner absorption layer, an outer most layer, and a active ingredients segment. The active ingredient segment includes active ingredients associated therewith and is adapted for contact and direct delivery to the infant's bottom when the diaper is placed on and worn by the infant. The active ingredient may be applied as a coating or integrate as fine particles within the skin-contact surface.
