Abstract: An apparatus includes a CPU core, a first cache subsystem coupled to the CPU core, and a second memory coupled to the cache subsystem. The first cache subsystem includes a configuration register, a first memory, and a controller. The controller is configured to: receive a request directed to an address in the second memory and, in response to the configuration register having a first value, operate in a non-caching mode. In the non-caching mode, the controller is configured to provide the request to the second memory without caching data returned by the request in the first memory. In response to the configuration register having a second value, the controller is configured to operate in a caching mode. In the caching mode the controller is configured to provide the request to the second memory and cache data returned by the request in the first memory.

  • Patent number: 11955213
Abstract: In clinical documentation, mere documentation of a condition in a patient's records may not be enough. To be considered sufficiently documented, the patient's record needs to show that no documentation drop-offs (DDOs) have occurred over the course of the patient's stay. However, DDOs can be extremely difficult to detect. To solve this problem, the invention trains time-sensitive deep learning (DL) models on a per condition basis using actual and/or synthetic patient data. Utilizing an ontology, grouped concepts can be generated on the fly from real-time hospital data and used to generate time-series data that can then be analyzed by trained time-sensitive DL models to determine whether a DDO for a condition has occurred during the stay. Non-time-sensitive models can be used to detect all the conditions documented during the stay. Outcomes from the models can be compared to determine whether to notify a user that a DDO has occurred.

  • Publication number: 20240103946
Abstract: Techniques for identifying faults in a collaborative computing system including a plurality of disparate, geographically separated computing systems are described herein. An intelligent monitoring (IM) server computing system may receive data from the plurality of computing devices and may monitor the health of the collaborative computing system. The IM server computing system may analyze the data and identify one or more faults associated with a portion of the collaborative system (e.g., an associated computing device, platform, network, etc.). In some examples, the IM server computing system may be configured to identify potential future faults associated with the portion of the collaborative system. Based on the fault, the IM server computing device may determine an action to take to remedy the fault and/or prevent the potential future fault. The IM server computing device may either automatically perform the action or send a notification to the associated computing system to perform the action.

  • Patent number: 11940918
Abstract: In described examples, a processor system includes a processor core generating memory transactions, a lower level cache memory with a lower memory controller, and a higher level cache memory with a higher memory controller having a memory pipeline. The higher memory controller is connected to the lower memory controller by a bypass path that skips the memory pipeline. The higher memory controller: determines whether a memory transaction is a bypass write, which is a memory write request indicated not to result in a corresponding write being directed to the higher level cache memory; if the memory transaction is determined a bypass write, determines whether a memory transaction that prevents passing is in the memory pipeline; and if no transaction that prevents passing is determined to be in the memory pipeline, sends the memory transaction to the lower memory controller using the bypass path.

  • Patent number: 11789804
Abstract: A method of identifying a root cause of a failure for a trace within a microservices-based application includes determining if a root span of the trace is an error span resulting in an error experienced by a user at a front end of the microservices-based application. If the root span of the trace is an error span, the method analyzes a plurality of spans comprising the trace to determine if the trace comprises at least one leaf error span. If the trace comprises a single leaf error span, the method attributes the root cause of the failure in the trace to a service associated with the single leaf error span. If the trace comprises multiple leaf error spans the method attributes the root cause of the failure in the trace to a service associated with a leaf error span of the multiple leaf error spans comprising a latest starting timestamp.

  • Publication number: 20230231850
Abstract: A method for integrating third-party encryption managers with cloud services includes receiving, at data processing hardware, an operation request requesting a cryptographic operation on data comprising an encryption operation or a decryption operation. When the operation is an encryption operation, the method includes transmitting a data encryption key associated with the data to a remote entity. The remote entity encrypts the data encryption key with a key encryption key and transmits the encrypted data encryption key to the data processing hardware. When the operation is a decryption operation, the method includes transmitting the encrypted data encryption key to the remote entity which causes the remote entity to decrypt the encrypted data encryption key with the key encryption key and transmit the decrypted data encryption key and transmit to the data processing hardware.
