Abstract: A turbofan engine includes an outer bypass duct and a gas turbine engine having an outer casing. The gas turbine engine is disposed in the outer bypass duct such that a bypass airflow passage is formed between the outer casing of the gas turbine engine and the outer bypass duct. The turbofan engine includes a turbine rear frame link assembly including a set of links coupled between the outer bypass duct and the outer casing to support the gas turbine engine relative to the outer bypass duct. The links are arranged around the gas turbine engine on a plane that is perpendicular to a centerline axis of the turbofan engine. None of the links extends through the bypass airflow passage at a position that intersects a radius extending in a vertically downward direction from the centerline axis.

The initial viewable peripheral location to the final viewable peripheral location defines a viewable path segment. The object is returned to the center of the digital space. The operations are performed in an aggregate object path including the viewable path segment and the unviewable path segment. The object has a pre-configured object velocity and a pre-configured cycle time period in the aggregate object path.

Abstract: A liquid cooled heat sink for electronic circuit boards is described. A heat sink base includes a liquid cooling arrangement to remove heat from the base. An arrangement of cooling fins extends from the base, and at least one surface of each fin includes a thermal interface layer. The arrangement is adapted so that the fins fit between parallel electronic circuit boards such that for each circuit board, a thermal contact layer of a fin contacts multiple components on the circuit board so as to conduct heat from the components into the fin, which in turn transfers heat to the heat sink base.

Abstract: An alkali metal filter having a layer of metallic bismuth deposited onto the alkali metal is provided. The metallic bismuth acts to stabilize the surface of the alkali metal to prevent substantial surface migration from occurring on the alkali metal, which may degrade optical characteristics of the filter. To this end, a layer of metallic bismuth is deposited by vapor deposition over the alkali metal to a depth of approximately 5 to 10 .ANG.. A complete alkali metal filter is described along with a method for fabricating the alkali metal filter.
