  • Patent number: 12097115
Abstract: A transcatheter prosthesis includes a stent, a prosthetic valve component, and an anti-paravalvular leakage component. The anti-paravalvular leakage component is coupled to the stent and includes an inner skirt, an outer wrap, a cavity, an opening, and a one-way valve. The inner skirt is disposed on an inner surface of the stent and has an inflow end and a downstream end. The outer wrap is disposed around an outer surface of the stent and has an inflow end coupled to the inflow end of the inner skirt and a downstream end. The cavity is formed between an outer surface of the inner skirt and an inner surface of the outer wrap. An opening is disposed between the inner skirt and the outer wrap. The one-way valve includes a flap at the opening configured to open to allow blood flow into the cavity but prevent blood flow out of the cavity.

  • Patent number: 11863239
Abstract: Techniques of present disclosure are directed to methods of providing acoustic communication networks. For example, methods are provided for that include obtaining, at a first transceiver of a plurality of transceivers arranged within an installation pattern, a first acoustic signal provided by a second transceiver of the plurality of transceivers. A location of the first transceiver within a message distribution pattern is determined from the acoustic signal. A delay based upon the location of the first transceiver within the message distribution pattern is determined. Finally, a second acoustic signal corresponding to the first acoustic signal is provided from the first transceiver after the delay.

  • Publication number: 20060173344
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for cooling an ultrasound transducer using a refrigeration system located within the imaging system. A closed loop of recirculating coolant located in the transducer assembly transports waste heat from the remotely located heat producing acoustic components or active electronics components to a thermally conductive shoe, located within the transducer connector. Thermally conductive materials in each connector, the ultrasound system connector and the transducer assembly connector, are positioned in contact to thermally conduct heat from the transducer assembly to a refrigeration system, located in the imaging system, free of fluid transfer.
