The lending platform may result in firm offers of credit to a loan candidate from a lender. A loan candidate may select among multiple firm offers of credit to select the best loan product for the loan candidate. The online lending platform is configured such that only a single instance of a credit report is pulled for a loan candidate so that multiple copies of the credit report are not pulled by different respective lenders. The personal information regarding the loan candidate, the credit and verification documentation are not passed to a lender until the loan candidate accepts an offer from the lender.
