  • Publication number: 20050211574
Abstract: A hat container that can be used to store or transport billed hats such as baseball caps or visors. To reduce the possibility that hats may become damaged during storage and transportation, the hat container can resemble a billed hat in appearance and, as such, comprise a bill portion, a crown portion, a closure, and a door. Other shape-preserving features include a concave depression that can be located in the door and a convex shape-retaining element that can span the bottom surface of the container, thereby better complementing the shape of billed hats. The hat container can also comprise a stabilizer, which can take the form of a rim extending from the edge of the door. The stabilizer can function to prevent water from entering the internal cavity of the hat container. The container can also comprise a loop that can be used to hang or carry the container.
