  • Patent number: 11991155
Abstract: A method for securing data access by containerized applications includes intercepting, by a first container executing on a first computing device and associated with a containerized application in a second container executing on the first computing device, a first Internet Protocol (IP) request from the containerized application. The first container determines that the IP request is addressed to a second computing device executing a resource that the containerized application is authorized to access. The first container encrypts a payload portion of the IP request and transmits, to the resource, a second IP request with the encrypted payload portion. The first container receives, from the resource, a response. The first container requests, from a third computing device, a cryptographic key for decrypting the response. The first container decrypts, with the cryptographic key, a payload portion of the response and transmits, to the containerized application, the decrypted payload portion of the response.

  • Publication number: 20240136960
Abstract: An electronic motor drive for powering permanent magnet air core synchronous motors having sinusoidal back emf includes a switchmode power converter coupled to a connection of an input power supply. The power converter converts power from the input power supply with a current-mode control output and regulates current to a variable voltage link that supplies the regulated current to a non-modulating commutation inverter that energizes multi-phase air core armature windings of the air core motor. The motor drive employs 6-step position sensorless commutation exciting only two phase legs at a time controlled through measurement of the back emf. The switchmode power converter includes a low pass inductance and capacitance filter ahead of a power supply of the commutation inverter. The regulated current is switched at a regulation frequency high enough to preclude significant switching-induced harmonic ripple currents to the air core armature windings.

  • Publication number: 20230387742
Abstract: A slotless rotating electric machine includes a rotor having multiple alternating polarity permanent magnets that drive magnetic flux across a magnetic airgap formed with a slotless ferromagnetic stator. The stator includes a helical backiron formed from a ferromagnetic strip wound edgewise and extending axially, and an adhesive film on the radial airgap surface of the backiron. Armature windings of wire having individually insulated twisted strands diametrically enveloped by an outer serve are adhered to the adhesive film. The adhesive film holds the said serve to the backiron and the serve holds the strands to the adhesive film. The armature windings pressed into the adhesive film as a group after they are formed and adhered while the adhesive cures, such that the wire is both bonded to the radial airgap surface of the helical stator backiron and is additionally partially embedded in the adhesive film.

  • Patent number: 5779241
Abstract: A sensor for locating the position of and measuring the velocity of an impacting object. The sensor employs a net attached at each edge to sensor modules mounted on a frame. Each sensor module includes an output drum, a take up drum, a spring and a motor. The net is attached to the sensor modules by cords wound on a spring loaded output drum. The drum is coaxial with a motor that generates a voltage proportional to the angular velocity of the drum. The diode isolated motor partially dissipates the energy of impact to heat on the return stroke in response to the restorative force of the spring. An object impacting a net draws the cord from the output drum, generating a voltage from an attached motor. A maximum voltage or an integrated voltage generated by the motors determines the velocity of impact. Each particular net has an associated set of axes. A pair of motors, their position known relative to the frame, are placed along these axes attached to one or more strings by a cord.
