  • Publication number: 20170046758
Abstract: A platform for approving purchases in an e-commerce platform may be provided. Embodiments of the present disclosure may first receive, from a requestor, a request for a purchase. The request may be received while, for example, the requester is navigating an e-commerce platform. The request for the purchase may comprise request details associated with the purchase and a link associated with an online merchant. The request details may be retrieved by, for example, accessing the link and retrieving product information associated with the purchase. The request and details may be provided to a decision maker associated with the requestor. The decision maker may then accept or decline the purchase. Upon accepting the purchase request, the platform may enable a processing of a transaction associated with the purchase request.

  • Patent number: 4028315
Abstract: A process for bonding an amino acid to an insoluble hydroxymethyl polymer by esterifying the C-terminal carboxyl group of an N-terminal protected amino acid with the hydroxyl group of an insoluble hydroxymethyl polymer. The esterifying takes place at about room temperature in the presence of a condensing agent. The insoluble hydroxymethyl polymer is a hydroxymethylated copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene, hydroxymethylcellulose, hydroxymethylated sulfonated polystyrene or polyvinyl alcohol. The condensing agent is dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, carbonyldiimidazole, thionyl chloride, phosphorous oxychloride or ethoxyacetylene. Peptides can be formed by bonding one or more amino acids to the amino acid bonded to the insoluble hydroxymethyl polymer.
