  • Patent number: 6109625
Abstract: A mobile base assembly for movably supporting machinery comprises stamped corner members, extension members, support wheel attachments, caster wheel assemblies, and at least two stops for supporting the machinery in a stationary position. The extension members and the corner members each have a plurality of holes. The holes in the extension members can be aligned with the holes in the corner member for receipt of bolts to fasten the extension member to the corner member. Further, each caster wheel assembly has a lifting mechanism that allows the mobile base assembly to be raised and lowered. The mobile base assembly is mobile in the raised position and stationary in the lowered position. In an alternative embodiment the support wheel attachments and caster wheel assemblies are attached directly to the machinery.

  • Patent number: 5358264
Abstract: A mobile machine support having an I-shaped frame structure. The frame structure has a centrally-disposed longitudinal member and two parallel transverse members attached to the opposite ends of the longitudinal members. The transverse members are stabilized by attaching their ends to the longitudinal member by means of angularly disposed brace members. Lockable rear wheels are attached to the ends of one of the two transverse members, and a front wheel is swivably attached to the other of the two transverse members substantially in alignment with the longitudinal member.

  • Patent number: 4715488
Abstract: A collapsible conveyor comprises a frame supporting a plurality of rollers and a support structure comprising a pair of legs pivotally secured to the frame. The conveyor also includes braces which extend between the frame and the legs and maintain stability of the legs in their extended position. Each leg comprises a first member slidably receiving a second member therein. The second member includes an inclined surface which tapers towards an opposite surface downwardly towards the lower portion of the inserted leg member. A locking plate is pivotally secured to the first leg member adjacent the inclined surface, and is abutted against the upper leg member by a bolt threadably engaged within a mounting plate secured to the hollow leg member.

  • Patent number: 4641845
Abstract: A wheeled pallet for handling and transporting industrial loads such as storage or inventory bins. The device has a substantially rectangular base with a transversely mounted axle and rotatably mounted wheels. The end members of the base have raised intermediate portions with caster-type wheels for mobility. Tubular members vertically secured to the corners of the base accept the cylindrical legs of an industrial bin. Thus, the device provides mobility for industrial loads such as storage bins while preventing tipping because of its low construction.

  • Patent number: 4640326
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved stand for a table saw which has an upper work supporting surface. The stand comprises a generally rectangular frame having a top, bottom, two spaced sides and two spaced ends. The table saw is secured to the top of the frame while a pair of elongated supports are secured to one end of the frame so that the supports are spaced apart and parallel to each other. A platform containing a plurality of rollers is pivotally mounted to the supports and is pivotal between an upper and a lower position. In its upper position, an upper surface of each roller on the platform is coplanar with the table saw work supporting surface so that work can be slid from the platform and to the table saw or vice versa. Conversely, in its lower position, the platform is flush against the end of the frame for compact storage. A locking lever retains a platform in its upper position when desired.
