  • Publication number: 20160229220
Abstract: An elongated and retractable sterile marker apparatus includes a handle assembly, an elongated marker operating assembly a top portion of which is connected to the handle assembly, and a sterile marker assembly which is connected to a bottom portion of the elongated marker operating assembly. Preferably, the sterile marker assembly includes a felt marker tip. The elongated and retractable sterile marker apparatus is particularly useful in pain management procedures to mark needle locations. Preferably, the handle assembly includes a pair of finger-reception members which are connected to an outside portion of the elongated marker operating assembly. A thumb-reception member is received in the elongated marker operating assembly for operating the elongated marker operating assembly. Preferably, a return spring is provided to return the tip of the sterile marker portion into a marker unit housing when the tip is no longer being used for marking.

  • Patent number: 6568310
Abstract: A layer (16, 24) of a mesh or mail material is bonded to the opposite sides of a ballistic layer (14, 22) a bullet resistant composite material. The layer (18, 26) of relatively lightweight body material, e.g. structural honeycomb, is bonded to the outside of each layer (16, 24) of mesh or mail material. A ballistic layer (28) may be provided on the outside of each layer (26) of relatively lightweight body material. Adhesive material secures the layers together to provide a unified panel. The panel may be a part of the door that is between the cockpit of an airplane and the region in the airplane rearwardly of the cockpit.

  • Patent number: 5882386
Abstract: A device for separating moisture from a gas flow which is vented from an interior region of an aircraft to a region exterior to the aircraft. In a preferred embodiment, a vessel having an inlet port coupled to the interior region of the aircraft, an outlet port coupled to the region exterior to the aircraft, and at least one baffle member positioned between the inlet port and the outlet port. The baffle member extends away from a wall of the vessel, at least partially transverse to a flow of gas passing through the vessel from the inlet port to the outlet port. The flow passes adjacent to the at least one baffle member such that a surface of the baffle member collects moisture thereon. The moisture is returned, via a canted vessel surface, through the inlet port of the vessel and to the interior region of the aircraft.
