  • Publication number: 20110163178
Abstract: A large scale vapor dispersion apparatus for dispersing a vapor of essential oil without the use of water by forcing an air stream through and/or over a volume of the essential oil, vaporizing a portion of the essential oil, controlling the vaporization rate by increasing or decreasing the amount of heated air passing through the essential oil, and distributing the air and vapor mixture over a large scale space. The apparatus includes a blower, an evaporator assembly, piping joining the blower to the evaporator assembly, and a tray containing an essential oil. Other aspects in accordance with the present invention include a damper directing a portion of the air above and/or below the tray, and a vapor dispersing device for dispersing the air and vapor exhausted from the apparatus into a large space.

  • Patent number: 6423274
Abstract: An apparatus for use with a sewage pumper truck to muffle and deodorize an air stream generated by filling of a tank of the truck though action of a vacuum pump on the exhaust of the tank to evacuate the tank and suck waste material into the tank. A reservoir contains a deodorizing liquid having a liquid surface and has a reservoir inlet positioned above the liquid surface and connectible to the outlet of the vacuum pump, and a reservoir outlet. An exhaust stack is connected to the outlet of the reservoir. Outside air heated by ordinary action of the vacuum pump pulling through the tank, is passed through the reservoir over the liquid surface of the deodorizing liquid, evaporates a sufficient amount of the liquid to achieve the desired effect, and then leaves the reservoir and is blown out the exhaust pipe containing the evaporated liquid.

  • Patent number: 6142383
Abstract: Waterless large scale dispersion method for essential oils which includes containing the liquid essential oil in a reservoir, simultaneously heating and blowing a gas over a surface of liquid essential oil in the reservoir to convert the oil to vapor, controlling the flow of gas by bypassing a portion of the gas around the reservoir, and distributing the vapor via one or more nozzles into a very large scale space. A constant speed regenerative blower is used to heat and blow air through the reservoir. A simple bypass valve controls the air flow through the reservoir.
