  • Publication number: 20260125853
Abstract: Materials (e.g., packaging materials) comprising a fiber substrate (e.g., paper) in a form of a porous network of fibers, and graphene oxide on surfaces of the fibers are provided, wherein the graphene oxide is present in the material at an amount of less than 1 weight % are provided. The materials are characterized by improved properties (e.g., increased oil/water resistance, increased mechanical properties) as compared to the fiber substrate absent the graphene oxide. Methods of improving mechanical properties of a fiber substrate are also provided. Food-packaging materials, methods of making the food-packaging materials and methods of using the food-packing materials are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11702807
Abstract: A snow blower including an auger housing, an auger rotatably positioned within the auger housing and configured to blow snow, a shaft attached to the auger and the auger housing, a chute attached to the auger housing and configured to direct the snow blown by the auger away from the snow blower, and at least one sensor configured to detect at least one of a rotational speed of the auger or the shaft and a load, torque, and/or thrust on the shaft or the auger housing. The data collected by the at least one sensor is used to determine an instantaneous flow rate of snow.
