  • Patent number: 9645557
Abstract: A system for geothermal process optimization can include a receiver configured to receive brine conditions sensed at a head of a production well of a geothermal power plant and a first circuit configured to determine an analyte value according to the sensed brine conditions. Also, the system can include a second circuit configured to determine a product dosage value for a product, according to the analyte value, product information, and historical power plant data. The product dosage value can be an amount of the product suggested to adequately prevent buildup, corrosion, or a combination thereof at a given part of the geothermal power plant, such as the production well.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 11, 2014
Date of Patent: May 9, 2017
    Assignee: ECOLAB USA INC.
Inventors: Jasbir S. Gill, David Rodman, Srinivasan Ramanathan, Tin Huynh
