  • Publication number: 20220323954
Abstract: A system for transferring a sample from a sample recovery or provision device to a microfluidic processing device, more particularly an analysis device, preferably in the form of a flow cell, with a sample carrier that removes the sample from the sample recovery or provision device and can be transported to the processing device. The sample carrier can be connected to the sample recovery or provision device and can be detached from sample recovery or provision device, with the sample being automatically removed. The sample carrier connected to the sample recovery or provision device is preferably a functional component of the sample recovery or provision device, more particularly the sample carrier closes a container space of the sample recovery or provision device for receiving sample material.

  • Patent number: 9278352
Abstract: A microfluidic arrangement including a substrate in which a microfluidic structure having several adjacent channels and at least one common supply line, into which the adjacent channels merge, is formed. Each of the adjacent channels form the cylinder of a cylinder-piston arrangement for receiving an associated piston. A method for producing the type of microfluidic-arrangement is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8443835
Abstract: A measurement channel for use in a microfluidic system, particularly a lab-on-chip system, having a first end at which a first gas permeable but liquid impermeable wall section is disposed which makes available a gas conduit, and a second end at which the measurement channel is connectable to at least one fluid conduit and at which an isolation or cutoff device is disposed, wherewith in the measurement channel a defined volume is included between the wall section and the isolation or cutoff device. A microfluidic structure is disclosed having a plurality of fluid conduits, and further having a valve for selectively connecting and/or blocking the fluid conduits, at least one of which fluid conduits is in the form of a measurement channel. A method of measuring and/or positioning a volume of a liquid in a microfluidic system, by a measurement channel is disclosed.

The isolation or cutoff means is preferably in the form of a second gas permeable but liquid impermeable wall section which makes available a gas conduit. A microfluidic structure is disclosed having a plurality of fluid conduits, and further having a valve for selectively connecting and/or blocking the fluid conduits, at least one of which fluid conduits is in the form of a measurement channel.
