  • Patent number: 11471485
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of generating multilineage potential cells by de-differentiation of somatic leukocytes in a mixed leukocyte suspension from a blood sample. The present invention is also directed to the use of the generated multilineage potential cells to treat conditions in humans and mammals.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 12, 2018

  • Patent number: 8090538
Abstract: Well log data is assigned depositional labels by a soft computing method. A model is trained on an expert-interpreted well log by segmenting, assigning fuzzy symbols to the segments, and calculating attribute values for units labeled by the expert. From these values, classifiers are trained for each of a number of depositional types. Finally, a model is developed for translating fuzzy symbols into depositional labels. Once trained, the model is applied to well log data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 1, 2008
Date of Patent: January 3, 2012
    Assignee: Chevron U.S.A. Inc
Inventors: David A. Wilkinson, Tina Yu
  • Patent number: 8064278
Abstract: A non-volatile memory including a plurality of memory cells configured to store data and a plurality of redundant memory cells configured to be used for functionally replacing defective memory cells. The memory further includes a protection register comprising storage elements configured to store configuration data of the memory device. The storage elements of the protection register are redundant memory cells not being used to replace defective memory cells.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 30, 2008
Date of Patent: November 22, 2011
    Assignee: STMicroelectronics S.r.l.
Inventors: Chin-Tin Tina Yu, Rich E. Fackenthal, Duane Mills

  • Patent number: 7657494
Abstract: A method utilizing genetic programming to construct history matching and forecasting proxies for reservoir simulators. Acting as surrogates for computer simulators, the genetic programming proxies evaluate a large number of reservoir models and predict future production forecasts for petroleum reservoirs.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 2006
Date of Patent: February 2, 2010
    Assignee: Chevron U.S.A. Inc.
