  • Patent number: 11977826
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of simulating operation of an electric drive unit to predict one or more performance parameters of the electric drive unit is provided. The electric drive unit includes at least an electric motor. The method includes obtaining parameters defining physical properties of the electric motor, obtaining parameters defining drive currents for driving the electric motor, processing the obtained parameters using a machine learning module trained a priori to predict a spatially varying electromagnetic and/or mechanical and/or thermal profile within the electric motor during operation, and providing as output a predicted profile for the electric motor, and using the predicted profile to compute the one or more performance parameters of the electric drive unit.

  • Patent number: 11966381
Abstract: Embodiments maintain a data pool that includes heterogeneous data sets, and receiving a first data batch of a data set from a data source into the data pool. Embodiments determine a current state of the data set based on a data set state diagram including a plurality of data set states, and identify a condition of the first data batch. Embodiments further set a data batch state for the first data batch, based on a data batch state diagram, and update the data batch state of a prior data batch received before the first data batch, based on the condition of the first data batch. Embodiments additionally transition the data set state diagram, based on the condition of the first data batch, to an updated data set state. Embodiments maintain a data state repository storing the data set state for each of the plurality of heterogeneous data sets.

  • Publication number: 20230288325
Abstract: In anomaly detection of a substance, a first set of chemical fingerprints is obtained. Each fingerprint in the first set is indicative of a plurality of physiochemical properties for a normal sample of the substance. The first set is converted into a cluster of data points in a multi-dimensional principal component analysis (PCA) plot. Each dimension of the plot is based on a principal component (PC) corresponding to one of the physiochemical properties. A profile pattern of the cluster of data points is constructed as a prediction model to identify a new sample with a chemical fingerprint outside the profile pattern as an anomaly. The prediction model is optimized using a second set of chemical fingerprints. Each chemical fingerprint in the second set is indicative of the plurality of physiochemical properties for testing samples that include normal testing samples and abnormal ones of the substance.

  • Patent number: 11258221
Abstract: A mating connector that is rotatable and wet-mateable is disclosed herein. The connector has mating components that can be characterized as male and female. The connector may have one or more electrical and/or non-electrical contacts. As used herein, “wet-mateable” or “wet-connectable” means proper mating of the male and female components can be achieved even in the presence of conductive fluid. Being rotatable means the male and female components can be rotated independently during the mating process. A male component of a rotatable and wet-mateable mating connector is provided that has conductive and non-conductive sealing elements. A female component of the rotatable and wet-mateable mating connector is provided having conductive elements that are complementary to the male component. The male component is inserted into a chamber within the female component to produce the rotatable and wet-mateable mating connector.
