  • Patent number: 11835673
Abstract: Methods are provided for determining properties of an anisotropic formation (including both fast and slow formations) surrounding a borehole. A logging-while-drilling tool is provided that is moveable through the borehole. The logging-while drilling tool has at least one dipole acoustic source spaced from an array of receivers. During movement of the logging-while-drilling tool, the at least one dipole acoustic source is operated to excite a time-varying pressure field in the anisotropic formation surrounding the borehole. The array of receivers is used to measure waveforms arising from the time-varying pressure field in the anisotropic formation surrounding the borehole. The waveforms are processed to determine a parameter value that represents shear directionality of the anisotropic formation surrounding the borehole.

  • Publication number: 20230295361
Abstract: Disclosed are a composition for use in photoelectronic component encapsulated, an encapsulation structure and a photoelectronic component. The composition includes 10%˜70% of a photocurable monomer; 10%˜70% of a monofunctional or trifunctional silicon-containing monomer; and 0.5%˜10% of an initiator. The use of the silicon-containing monomer, on the one hand, because of the strong distensibility of Si—O—Si chain segment of self, provides a stress dispersing effect upon impact, reduces internal stress, and increases the mechanical performance of the organic encapsulation composition; and on the other hand, effectively increases the thermal performance and hydrophobicity of the organic encapsulation composition. Film packaging for use in the photoelectronic component may effectively increase the service life of the component.

  • Publication number: 20230228415
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a liquid fuel self-sustaining combustion burner for flame synthesis, including a swirl-flow cylinder and a stable combustion cylinder. A swirl-flow plate is disposed at an open end of the swirl-flow cylinder and defines swirl-flow outlets. A tangential inlet tube is mounted on the swirl-flow cylinder and in fluid communication with the swirl-flow chamber. An open end of the swirl-flow cylinder extends into the stable combustion chamber. The fuel can be atomized by an atomizer and sprayed into the stable combustion chamber for combustion. Air introduced from the tangential inlet tube can flow into the swirl-flow chamber and advance spirally around the central stabilizing column to reach the swirl-flow plate. The airflow is partially injected into the stable combustion chamber through the swirl-flow outlets, and then continues to spirally advance. An atomizing nozzle of the atomizer is located inside the swirling airflow.

  • Patent number: 11505833
Abstract: Novel gene deletions and translocations involving chromosome 2 resulting in fusion proteins combining part of Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) kinase with part of a secondary protein have been identified herein in human solid tumors, e.g. non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). Secondary proteins include Echinoderm Microtubule-Associated Protein-Like 4 (EML-4) and TRK-Fusion Gene (TFG). The EML4-ALK fusion protein, which retains ALK tyrosine kinase activity, was confirmed to drive the proliferation and survival of NSCLC characterized by this mutation. The invention therefore provides, in part, isolated polynucleotides and vectors encoding the disclosed mutant ALK kinase polypeptides, probes for detecting it, isolated mutant polypeptides, recombinant polypeptides, and reagents for detecting the fusion and truncated polypeptides.

  • Publication number: 20210349095
Abstract: The invention provides the identification of the presence of polypeptides with ROS kinase activity in mammalian lung cancer. In some embodiments, the polypeptide with ROS kinase activity is the result of a fusion between a ROS-encoding polynucleotide and a polynucleotide encoding a second (non-ROS) polypeptide. Three different fusion partners of ROS are described, namely proteins encoded by the FIG gene, the SLC34A2 gene, and the CD74 gene. The invention enables new methods for determining the presence of a polypeptide with ROS kinase activity in a biological sample, methods for screening for compounds that inhibit the proteins, and methods for inhibiting the progression of a cancer (e.g., an lung cancer).
