  • Patent number: 8930852
Abstract: Techniques are provided for manipulating folder and file icons on a screen of an electronic device. A folder icon representing a folder is displayed on a screen, in a first mode, at a first location on the screen. The folder may contain a plurality of individual files and the folder icon is configured to indicate the plurality of individual files. An activation event is detected comprising a movement from the first location on the screen to a second location on the screen. In response to detecting the activation event, the folder icon is displayed on the screen along with icons representing the individual files on the screen. The screen may display the icons of the individual files as fanning out from the folder icon and/or may display the icons of the individual files entirely outside of the folder icon.

  • Publication number: 20130129120
Abstract: A speaker has a body, a first packing ring and a fastening collar. The body includes a frame and sound components. The frame has a cover portion and an extension portion. A diameter of the cover portion is larger than a diameter of the extension portion. The sound components are mounted in the frame. The first packing ring is mounted around the extension portion of the body. The fastening collar is fastened around the extension portion of the body and watertightly abuts the first packing ring. Therefore, the speaker can be easily and quickly installed by mounting the first packing ring and the fastening collar around the body in sequence. Besides, the speaker can have a smooth appearance because no fixed structure on the cover frame is required.

  • Patent number: 8391519
Abstract: A treble-bass coaxial loudspeaker has an inverted conical frame, a bass resonance assembly mounted to the bottom of the frame, a bracket, and a treble resonance assembly. The bracket is mounted on the bass resonance drumhead and contains the treble resonance assembly inside to separate the treble resonance chip from the bass resonance assembly below. In this way, when the bass resonance drumhead vibrates, the air turbulence between the bass resonance drumhead and the wave damping annular board decreases destruction of the joint strength between the treble resonance chip and the treble resonance drumhead.

  • Publication number: 20100108682
Abstract: A waterproof cover assembly has a frame and a lid. The frame has a pivoting recess and two mounting notches. The mounting notches are formed respectively in ends of the pivoting recess. Each mounting notch has a polygonal pivoting hole, an opening and an extending slot. The opening and the extending slot are formed oppositely in the corresponding end of the pivoting recess and align to each other. The lid is connected pivotally to the frame and has a pintle with two polygonal positioning ends. The positioning ends are mounted rotatably in the pivoting holes of the mounting notches. When the lid is pivoted and the positioning ends and the pivoting holes are unmatched to each other, the openings and the extending slots are expanded to loose the pivoting holes. Therefore, the pivoting holes and the positioning ends are kept from being worn down to provide long-term positioning function.

  • Patent number: 7289642
Abstract: An audio speaker has a T-yoke, a solenoid, a voice coil, a cone paper, a magnet, a gasket, a basket, a terminal, a damper and a wire. The T-yoke has a bottom disk and a pole formed on the bottom disk. The solenoid and the voice coil are mounted on the pole. The cone paper is mounted a top of the t-yoke. The gasket is mounted on a top surface of the magnet. The basket is mounted on the gasket around the cone paper. The damper is mounted between the voice coil and the basket. The wire is mounted on the damper and has a sealant. The sealant is mounted securely on the damper and securely seals the wire, and thereby prevents the wire from swaying to eliminate both interference with the acoustic waves and corrosion arising from being exposed to humidity in the air.

  • Patent number: 6919510
Abstract: A waterproof cover for an audio system includes a frame with a top side, a front side and an opening. A slot is defined in the top side of the frame and has two opposite walls. Two apertures are respectively defined through the opposite walls of the slot. Two chambers are defined respectively two ends of the slot and communicate with the slot by the apertures. Two inclined channels are defined in the front side of the fame and communicate with the slot. Two pin assemblies are provided respectively in the chambers and extend out from the apertures. A shield is pivotally mounted on the frame by the pin assemblies and has an inner side and a recessed lip formed in the inner side of the shield in the inclined channels. A gasket is mounted inside the recessed lip of the shield. Accordingly, water cannot penetrate into the waterproof cover, and the audio system remains unaffected by rain, etc.
