Abstract: The present disclosure illustrates a system for using a kernel to perform a pressure test on a communication port and a method thereof. In the system, a transmission parameter corresponding to a port is set and a test procedure is established on a processor in accordance with the transmission parameter, so that the processor executes a kernel of computer to use a driver of network card based on the transmission parameter to transmit and receive test packets on the communication port. As a result, the system and the method of the present disclosure may generate enough data traffic for pressure test and may achieve the effect of performing test on network device installed difference network cards.
