  • Publication number: 20240149466
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes a silicone hemispherical dome and an omnidirectional optical system. The dome includes a surface including a reflective silver-film layer. The optical system includes a lens including multiple lens elements with the first lens element in direct contact with the hemispherical dome without airgap. The lens is configured to capture scattering of internal incident light generated by the reflective silver-film layer. The optical system also includes an image sensor configured to generate image data from data captured by the lens. The system also includes non-image sensors.

  • Publication number: 20190370537
Abstract: Techniques to use keypoint detection to highlight a subject of interest are disclosed. In various embodiments, image data comprising an image is processed to detect a set of keypoints on a human subject included in an image comprising the image data. The image data is processed to detect a set of additional points associated with a surface of the human subject. At least adjacent ones of said keypoints and additional points are connected to generate a mesh overlay. The mesh overlay is combined with the image to generate a composite in which the mesh overlay is superimposed over the human subject.

  • Publication number: 20180121729
Abstract: Segmentation-based techniques to display video content highlighting a subject of interest are disclosed. In various embodiments, visual content data comprising a frame of video content or a single image data is received. For each of at least a subsets of pixels comprising the visual content data a probability that the pixel is associated with an object of interest is determined. A likelihood map that identifies portions of the visual content data determined to be associated with the object of interest is determined for the visual content data based at least in part on said pixel-level probabilities. A mask layer configured to be combined with the visual content data to provide a modified visual content data in which the object of interest is highlighted is generated based at least in part on the likelihood map.
