The housing defines a number of openings, and the I/O ports are exposed from the plurality of openings. The port shield defines a number of receiving spaces to receive and position the I/O ports, thereby preventing the plurality of I/O ports from becoming loose and detaching from the circuit board.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a main body, a lid, two hinge members, a reinforcing member and a covering structure. The main body has a top surface. The hinge members are disposed at two opposite ends of a side edge of the lid to rotatably connect the lid to the main body. The reinforcing member is disposed on the side edge and located between the two hinge members. The reinforcing member is inserted in the through hole to abut the main body. The covering structure is detachably mounted to the main body and partly covering the through hole.

Abstract: A holding mechanism for holding a battery includes a retaining member, a resisting member ant at least two limiting members. The retaining member limits the battery from movement in a first direction. The resisting member corresponds to the retaining member and engages with the retaining member to cooperatively support and limit the battery from movement in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The at least two limiting members are arranged at opposite sides of the retaining member and are used for limiting the battery from movement in a third direction. The third direction is perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction. An electronic device using the holding mechanism is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an upper cover, a lower cover, and a cover. An infrared window is defined in the edge of the lower cover for receiving the cover. The cover includes a main body, a pair of arms each having a first end connected to the main body and an opposite second end, a pair of first blocks protruding outwardly from the second ends of the arms, and a pair of second blocks protruding from the first ends of the arms. A pair of latching members protrude from an inner surface of the lower cover and are arranged at opposite sides of the infrared window. Each latching member includes a hook formed at an end thereof. The hook engages with the first blocks, and the second blocks engage with the edge of the inner sides of the infrared window, thereby securing the cover to the lower cover.

Abstract: A folding device includes a housing, a cover, at least one pivoting member, a torsion spring, and at least one resisting member. The cover folds down on the housing. The pivoting member is fixed to the cover. The pivoting member has a pivot. The pivot is rotatably inserted into the housing to pivot the cover on the housing. The torsion spring provides a constant elastic force for opening and supporting the cover. The at least one resisting member resists against the pivoting member to prevent the pivot disengaging from the housing.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an upper cover, a lower cover engaged with the upper cover, a touch panel, a circuit board fixed to the lower cover, at least one connector mounted on the circuit board, and a support element. A top surface of the touch panel is fixed to the upper cover. The support element includes a mount and at least one support. The mount is mounted on the circuit board and covers the at least one connector. The at least one support protrudes from the mount and resists against a bottom surface of the touch panel.

Abstract: This invention provides an electronic device including a base defining a receiving space, a cover coupled to the base, a main circuit board retained within the receiving space, a control panel attached to the cover, and a receiver. The cover includes a positioning tab defining a cutout. The receiver includes a main body to convert remote signals into electrical signals and a plurality of pins parallelly connected to the main body. The main body is fixed within the cutout and the pins are connected in parallel to the control panel for transmitting the converted electrical signals to the main circuit board via the control panel.

The rotator is disposed in the main body for rotating discs and can be covered by the lid. The protective structure is disposed between the rotator and the lid. The protective structure is capable of suppressing noise and/or damage caused by contact between the rotator and the lid when the rotator operates.
