  • Patent number: 8641288
Abstract: A radial needle rolling bearing, which has a thin-walled outer sleeve with radial rims that are axially inwardly directed on both sides, a plurality of needle bearings rolling on the inner lateral area of the sleeve and on the outer lateral area of the shaft to be supported, and a cage guiding the bearing needles in the circumferential direction in an evenly spaced manner. At least on one side, in addition to the needle cage, an additional stop disc is inserted into the needle sleeve. The disc is delimits axial movability of the needle cage together with a radial rim or a further stop disc inserted into the sleeve. Between the stop disc and the other radial rim, a sealing element is arranged, which seals the bearing. The sealing element is a labyrinth seal, which can be assembled from two individual mutually engaging sealing rings that have complimentary profile cross-sections.

  • Patent number: 6957919
Abstract: In a double-row angular contact ball bearing comprising an outer ring (1), an inner ring (2) and two ball crown rings (3, 4) formed by bearing balls (3.1, 4.1) guided in two separate cages (3.2, 4.2) and supported on shoulders (1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2) of said inner and outer rings, ball raceways of the bearing having different diameters, the cages (3.2, 4.2) are made of plastic and configured as window-type cages comprising pockets for receiving the bearing balls (3.1, 4.1), and one of the cages (3.2, 4.2) comprises on an axially inward oriented end, a plurality of spacers (3.5, 4.5) uniformly spaced from one another in peripheral direction, said one cage further comprises a plurality of retaining lugs (3.4, 4.4) uniformly spaced from one another in peripheral direction, which retaining lugs engage a corresponding groove (2.3, 1.3) of one of the inner (2) and the outer ring (1), and the spacers (3.5, 4.5) of the one cage (3.2, 4.2) prevent an axial displacement of the other cage (4.2, 3.2).

  • Patent number: 6461049
Abstract: A rolling bearing cage comprising a first side ring (1) and a second side ring (2) that are connected to each other by crossbars (3) so that pockets (5) for receiving rolling elements (4) are formed, and lubrication grooves (6) extend in axial direction up to said first and second side rings (1, 2) on at least one of peripheral surfaces and bore sections of the crossbars (3) wherein flow channels (7) are arranged in a fractional region of the lubrication grooves (6) and are set back relative to the lubrication grooves (6) in at least one of a radially inward and a radially outward direction. In this way, lubrication of such a bearing is substantially improved.

  • Patent number: 6261005
Abstract: The invention concerns a rolling bearing cage (1, 21) made of a resilient plastic and comprising at at least one peripheral point, an axially extending gap (2) formed by a first cage end (4) and a second cage end (3) which is spaced from the first cage end (4), each of the first and the second cage ends (4, 3) comprising at least one projection and at least one recess, said recess and projection having complementary shapes, and as viewed in axial direction, the recess and the projection partially engage each other, and as viewed in peripheral direction, the recess and the projection partially overlap each other.
