  • Publication number: 20230112182
Abstract: A roller conveyor system for conveying material may include a frame and roller conveyors arranged on the frame. The roller conveyor system is configurable in an operating state and in a maintenance state. At least one of the roller conveyors is arranged in an operating position in the operating state and in a maintenance position that is different from the operating position in the maintenance state. In the maintenance position, a region is then advantageously freed up, which can be used to perform maintenance. In addition, a method for transferring such a roller conveyor system from an operating state into a maintenance state may involve transferring one of the roller conveyors from the operating position into a maintenance position different from the operating position.

  • Patent number: 10450017
Abstract: A processing station, for example a framing station, for workpieces formed as vehicle body parts. The station has at least one clamping frame, at least one magazine area for holding the clamping frames, a working area for processing the workpieces and a feed device for feeding the clamping frames between the at least one magazine area and the working area in a longitudinal direction X and a transverse direction Y. The feed device has a floor-based rail arrangement for guiding and carrying the clamping frames.

  • Publication number: 20140158490
Abstract: Retention device for the retention of at least one part, which is to be retained, in a vehicle body manufacturing system, has an overload protection coupling, and the overload protection coupling has a first and a second coupling unit. One of the first and second coupling units has a connecting element which can be releasably coupled to the other one of the coupling units. The other coupling unit has at least one clamping element to which an element for generating a clamping force which creates a connection between the clamping element and the connecting element is assigned in such a way that the connection can be automatically released by a release force which overcomes the clamping force.

  • Patent number: 8061748
Abstract: A handling for components having a similar shape, particularly motor vehicle body parts, wherein a gripper on an arm of a robot can grip the component and its similarly-shaped other components with one and the same clamp device without re-tooling, is equipped with two gripper chucks on each clamp device. However, only one gripper chuck can be steered into the grab positions in each case, while the other gripper chuck is then located in the parking position outside a grab area on the component.
