  • Patent number: 10061310
Abstract: A method for the control of an industrial truck during order picking by an industrial truck with at least one environment sensor for the detection of the relative position of an operator in the environment of the industrial truck. The method includes moving the industrial truck using a control system. As the position of the operator changes, and when the operator stops, the industrial truck is stopped at a freely selectable distance specified in advance in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between a reference point of a load handling device of the industrial truck and the position of the operator.

Date of Patent: August 28, 2018
    Assignee: STILL GmbH

  • Patent number: 8763759
Abstract: An industrial truck has a lifting mast and vertically movable load handling device located on the lifting mast. The lifting mast has a lifting height measurement system having a light emitter that emits a light beam, a receiving element, an optical alignment element, a target element, and a measurement path located between them, the length of which measurements path varies with the lifting height. The alignment element and/or the light emitter has a beam-forming optical system, in particular a beam-expanding optical system, so that at the maximum lifting height the reflecting target is inside the expanded light beam of the light emitter in all positions of the allowable maximum bending of the lifting mast.

  • Patent number: 8701789
Abstract: The invention relates to a compressed air foam producer, wherein a fire or decontamination specific additive is injected directly into the foam forming flow supplied to the main water flow and/or the main water flow. A mixing pump for the foaming agent draws off an auxiliary and motive water flow, wherein initially the additive and then the foaming agent is injected. The foaming agent-additive-water mixture, which is produced directly on site, is mixed well together and with the main water flow ensuring a fine, uniform distribution of the additives in the compressed air foam. The thus produced compressed air foam ensures optimal, economical and environmentally friendly fire-fighting and decontamination.

  • Patent number: 8573317
Abstract: The method is for continuously producing compressed-air foam, notably for fire fighting or for decontamining, by supplying both compressed air and a mixture of water and at least a foaming agent to a foaming chamber (5) outputting foam to a nozzle (9) via a pipe (8). The mixture of foam agent and water and the compressed air are each continuously supplied to the foaming chamber (5) at a constant pressure and at a constant volume flow rate, e.g. by means of pressure regulators (1, 2) and of flow rate regulators (3, 4). The foam pressure is regulated at the outlet of the foaming chamber (5) for maintaining the foam mixing pressure in the foaming chamber constant, preferably by a self-operating valve (6). The foaming chamber can advantageously be of a static type comprising sieves.

  • Publication number: 20090114405
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement using compressed-air foam for the stationary fire fighting of burning matter of a two-dimensional or three-dimensional form, in particular in road tunnels, in which method the compressed-air foam produced by a foam generator is delivered to the extinguishing area concerned by means of a main compressed-air foam pipeline and is discharged there in a distributed manner by means of a manifold pipe system.
