  • Publication number: 20240053111
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to a device for removing air from a coolant liquid of a coolant system. The device has a body with a swirl pot at one end and a manifold extending from the swirl pot to an opposed end of the body. The swirl pot has a fluid inlet for receiving coolant fluid of a first air concentration and a fluid outlet for discharging coolant fluid of a second concentration less than the first. The manifold has a first fluid pipe connected to a plurality of outlet pipes that extend transversely to the first fluid pipe and are spaced there along.

  • Publication number: 20230096609
Abstract: A connector is disclosed that includes a coupler having a socket end fluidically connected by a passage to a stem connected to a first fluid tube. A retainer housing having a cavity in axial alignment with the passage is installed on the coupler socket end and a retainer is installed in the retainer housing in a first position. A second fluid tube having a raised bead formed proximate an end portion of the second fluid tube is permitted to be installed into the retainer housing cavity by the retainer when the retainer is in the first position. Installation of the second fluid tube places the bead in the retainer housing and the end portion of the second fluid tube in the coupler passage providing a fluid path between the first fluid tube and the second fluid tube. The retainer is moved to a second position latching the bead to the retainer housing retaining the second fluid tube to the connector.

  • Publication number: 20230055432
Abstract: A quick connector assembly and process for forming a coupling in a fluid line between a first and a second fluid tube comprises a receptacle body having a cavity extending through the receptacle body to the second fluid tube. A sealing section is located within the cavity and a socket portion extends from the sealing section. The socket portion includes wall bordering a socket opening in alignment with the cavity and includes a pair of latch openings extending through a portion of the wall into the socket opening. A sealing member having a receiver opening is installed in the sealing section with the receiver opening in alignment with the socket opening and the cavity to the second tube. A bracket installed on the wall includes a pair of spring latches, each spring latch extending through a respective one of the pair of latch openings into the socket opening.

  • Publication number: 20220268373
Abstract: A quick connector is disclosed comprising a receptacle having first and second channels formed on opposite sides of the exterior of the receptacle. A flange includes a retainer mounting part fixed on a first end of the flange. A first pair of clamping jaws extends from a second end of the flange with each clamping jaw of the first pair of clamping jaws accepted into a respective receptacle first and second channel, clasping the receptacle to the flange. The clamped bracket retainer and receptacle are then guided to have a tube inserted into an interior passage of the receptacle and the bracket retainer is attached to a rigid structure using a fastening arrangement that retains the quick connector receptacle and endform in a connected state.
