  • Publication number: 20200383585
Abstract: A method for determining an internal myocardial power of a heart, the method comprising non-invasively obtaining one or more first images that are indicative of a structure of the heart, non-invasively obtaining one or more second images that are indicative of a flow property of the heart, segmenting, based on the one or more first images, the blood pool and the myocardium of the heart, determining, based on the segmented 5 blood pool, the myocardium and the one or more second images, one or more mechanical parameters of the heart, and determining the internal myocardial power based on the one or more mechanical parameters.

  • Publication number: 20200281478
Abstract: The disclosure refers to a method for non-invasively determining a pressure difference in a cardiovascular vessel, comprising providing imaging data indicative of imaging signals detected in a region of interest of a cardiovascular vessel, the region comprising a proximal vessel portion, a distal vessel portion, and a vessel narrowing located between the proximal and the distal vessel; and determining, from the imaging data, a pressure difference between a first location and a second location in the cardiovascular vessel portion, the first location and the second location provided in the proximal and the distal vessel portions, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20040093075
Abstract: A heart valve stent (25) and method for treating a patient with a fluid circulatory system defect is provided. The stent has a metal stent body (14), which is expandable from a compressed state to an expanded state. The stent body in the expanded state has a hollow structure and a leaflet (10) attached thereto with the leaflet movable from an open to a closed position to allow unidirectional fluid circulation and to prevent non-unidirectional fluid circulation through the hollow structure, which is translucent to magnetic resonance imaging signals by not producing eddy currents in response thereto.
