Abstract: The invention regards to a pulley device, especially turbo braking pulley device, especially designed for cableways, for gravitational transport of persons and things. The pulley device has at least one pair of blades (43, 44; 53, 54), a rotation speed of which is applied upon them by a respective pulley (30) being guided along a cableway rope (F). The rotation speed of the blades (43, 44; 53, 54) is reduced by effect of friction with air encountered as the pulley device descends a cableway span. That reduction in rotation speed is transmitted to the at least one pulley.
