  • Publication number: 20040238684
Abstract: In the stepped cylindrical wall (3) for the reserve turns there are provided three slots (5), extending circumferentially and each having a plurality of appendages (7, 7, 9) that project with a profile leading into the slot from the opposite sides of the slot and are staggered with respect to each other, so that as the yarn F penetrates into the slot (5) it is derived in a wavy configuration by the appendages (7, 7, 9); thus an effect of retaining the reserve turns of yarn is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20040211860
Abstract: On its cylindrical wall the bobbin has adjacent longitudinal rows of holes (5) of substantially rectangular shape with the short sides (5A) orientated circumferentially and the long sides (5B) curving towards the inside of the hole, the holes in one row being offset with respect to those in adjacent longitudinal rows in such a way as to create undulating longitudinal linear structures (9) between the longitudinal rows of adjacent holes (5); the curved longitudinal edges of each hole can lie alongside each other in the intermediate zone following uniform radial compressive stressing of the transverse cross-section of the bobbin, while longitudinal shortening of the bobbin is made easier.

  • Publication number: 20040079833
Abstract: The sleeve of the tube-shaped support has holes (12) which are spaced over the top section (5) intended to penetrate inside the bottom end section (1); the external surface of said top section (5) is provided with longitudinal depressions (20) between the adjacent holes (12) aligned longitudinally; it is thus possible to avoid shearing or damage due to pinching of the yarn by the edge (1A) of the bottom end section (1) of the support when it is fitted onto and slid along the smaller-size section (5) of an underlying tube-shaped support.

  • Patent number: 5584439
Abstract: A center with elongated slots (3) for reducing axial and transverse sections of the center. The elongate slots (3) are arranged in two series of intersecting helical alignments; on each of these alignments slots are arranged alternately with their greatest dimension along said helical alignment and transversely to it; at each intersection is a slot belonging to both alignments. When an axial compressive force is applied the slots shrink, thereby simultaneously reducing the axial and diametrical dimensions.

  • Patent number: 5178342
Abstract: A dyeing cone (1) comprising a shell with apertures for the passage of the dyeing liquid, this shell defining an external surface (5) for the winding of the turns of yarn and an internal surface (7) for guiding along a bar of the dyeing machine; the internal surface consists of a first cylindrical portion (21) and of a second conical portion (23) whose smaller diameter is greater than the diameter of the cylindrical portion; ribs (31) projecting toward the axis of the cone extend on the conical portion (21), and constitute an extension of the cylindrical portion and in their lower part form a stop (31A) for a cone located below.

  • Patent number: 5169087
Abstract: One of the ends (X) of a tube has an internal annular ledge (7) and an annular wall (9), the internal surface (9A) of which forms an annular corner (10) around the ledge (7) and widens slightly as it moves away from the ledge; the other end (Y) forms a setback (12) towards the inside followed by an approximately cylindrical collar (14) for the turns of reserve yarn, the annular edge (14A) of which is capable of bearing against a ledge (7) as described above, of a similar tube and of being centered by an annular corner (10) as described above, of a similar tube; said annular edge (14A) has hollows (16) which are capable of allowing the passage of fluid which thus acts on the turns of the reserve.

  • Patent number: 5131595
Abstract: A bobbin for dyeing spools possesses an openwork wall on which is wound the yarn for forming the spool, and comprises a plurality of rings (3) which are mutually connected by a series of inclined bridges (5), of greater length than the interspace between contiguous rings (3) and are deformable under the action of the axial compression of the bobbin. The length of the bridges (5) is less than the interspace between two contiguous bridges (5) of a single series of bridges for connecting two consecutive rings (3).

  • Patent number: 4793568
Abstract: A cone for dyeing reeled yarns and for equivalent uses, with a truncated-cone wall pervious and having such a thickness so as to create, along a portion of its length, an axial through seat for the centering over the stems of the dyeing equipment and with an axial recess formed by the end part of the truncated-cone wall and an annular bottom, which axial recess is apt to receive the narrowest part of an axially adjacent cone, thereby the cones fitted onto the same stem penetrate partially one into the other.
