  • Publication number: 20240089365
Abstract: Examples that relate to calling on a computing device are disclosed. One example provides a computing device, comprising, a first display a second display, a sensor system a logic subsystem and a storage subsystem comprising instructions executable by the logic subsystem to output, via one or both of the first display and the second display, a notification of an incoming phone call at the computing device, and based on output from the sensor system indicating a relative angle between the first display and the second display being changed to an angle greater than a predetermined angle, answer the incoming phone call.

  • Publication number: 20230152863
Abstract: One example provides a computing device including a first portion including a first display, a second portion including a second display and a camera, the second portion connected to the first portion via a hinge, a hinge angle sensing mechanism including one or more sensors, a logic device, and a storage device holding instructions executable by the logic device to execute a camera application and to receive sensor data from the one or more sensors, based at least in part on the sensor data received from the one or more sensors, determine a device pose, output the camera application to the first display when the device pose is indicative of the camera being world-facing, and output the camera application to the second display when the device pose is indicative of the camera being user-facing.

  • Publication number: 20220391078
Abstract: Examples are related to operating a user interface of a dual-screen computing device. One example provides a computing device, comprising a first portion comprising a first display and a first touch sensor, and a second portion comprising a second display and a second touch sensor, the second portion connected to the first via a hinge, the hinge defining a seam between the first display and the second display. The computing device is configured to receive a touch input at the first display moving an application that is currently displayed on the first display and not on the second display toward the second display, detect the touch input releasing the application within a predetermined area, and span the application across the first display and the second display.
