    Abstract: A maximum power point tracking method, applied to a tracking device, employs a DC/DC converter connecting with a solar cell array, and including a controller actuating the DC/DC converter to perform an active resistance characteristic; a maximum power point tracking circuit adjusting the active resistance of the DC/DC converter; monitoring a change of an output power of the solar cell array in determining a direction for adjusting the active resistance of the DC/DC converter; and the maximum power point tracking circuit repeatedly adjusting the active resistance of the DC/DC converter. If the change of the output power of the solar cell array is positive, the active resistance of the DC/DC converter is adjusted in the same direction; but, conversely, if the change of the output power of the solar cell array is negative, the active resistance of the DC/DC converter is adjusted in an opposite direction.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating an active device array substrate is provided. First, a substrate is provided. A pixel array is formed on the substrate. An alignment material layer having a plurality of alignment regions is formed on the pixel array. A mask layer is formed on a portion of the alignment regions on the alignment material layer by using an inkjet printing process, so as to expose another portion of the alignment regions on the alignment material layer. Then, a particle beam alignment process is performed to the exposed alignment material layer. Then, the mask layer is removed. Another mask layer is formed on the alignment material layer which has been treated by the particle beam to expose the alignment material layer not treated by the particle beam. Another particle beam alignment process is performed to the exposed alignment material layer, and then the another mask layer is removed.

    Abstract: A plug connector with latch means includes a casing, a mating portion and a latch means. The latch means consists of a lock member and a press member. The lock member has a lock arm, the front end of the lock arm projects sideward and defines a pawl, the back end projects sideward and defines a projection. The front end of the press member bends inward to define a press portion, the back end bends inward to define a blocking portion. To disengage the plug connector from the mating connector, the casing is pulled, the press member is driven to move backward along with the casing and the press portion presses the projection of the lock member, the projection is driven to move inward and drives the pawl move into the inlay cavity, thereby, the plug connector with latch means disengages from the mating connector easily.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating a shallow trench isolation structure is provided. A substrate is provided with a pad layer, a mask layer and a shallow trench formed therein. A liner oxide layer is formed on the sidewall of the shallow trench and then a silicon nitride layer is formed conformably over the substrate. A developable material layer is formed to fill up the shallow trench. After the baking process, a part of the developable material layer is removed until the top surface of the developable material layer is lower than that of the substrate. The silicon nitride layer that is exposed by the developable material layer is removed and the remained developable material layer is removed. Following a thermal oxidation process, an insulating layer is formed over the substrate and fills up the shallow trench. After planarization and removing the mask layer, a shallow trench isolation structure is formed.

The first blocks (12) of barcode symbols can be formed of monochrome and colour bar code symbols, e.g. just one colour barcode symbol and at least one monochrome barcode symbol, while the second blocks (11) can be formed purely of colour barcode symbols. The invention also relates to a level determining apparatus specifically adapted for the above rod, and to a method of using that rod.

    Abstract: A scanning control device for a capacitive touch panel uses voltage driving/current detecting circuits to connect to a top conductive layer of the touch panel. Output terminals of all voltage driving/current detecting units are connected to a signal processing unit through a switching unit. If the touch panel is pressed, all voltage driving/current detecting circuits detect current values at four corners of the top conductive layer and sequentially output the current values to the signal processing unit.
