The message management system generates one or more hash values by applying a hash function to each of the one or more images corresponding to the file. The message management system stores the one or more hash values in a database. The message management system receives an outgoing electronic message that includes an attached file. The message management system generates one or more attachment hash values for the attached file by applying the hash function to the attached file. The message management system compares the one or more attachment hash values to the database. The message management system determines that at least one attachment hash value matches at least one hash value. The message management system blocks the outgoing electronic message.

    Abstract: Within many applications impulse radio based ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) transmission offers significant benefits for very short range high data rate communications when compared with existing standards and protocols. In many of these applications the main design goals are very low power consumption and very low complexity design for easy integration and cost reduction. Digitally programmable IR-UWB transmitters using an on-off keying modulation scheme on a 0.13 microns CMOS process operating on 1.2V supply and yielding power consumption as low as 0.9 mW at a 10 Mbps data rate with dynamic power control are enabled. The IR-UWB transmitters support new frequency hopping techniques providing more efficient spectrum usage and dynamic allocation of the spectrum when transmitting in highly congested frequency bands. Biphasic scrambling is also introduced for spectral line reduction.

    Abstract: Techniques to improve edge detection in images. Some techniques include logic to process image data into patched image data in accordance with a colorspace model where the patched image data includes color data in a plurality of patches and identify an image group corresponding to the patched image data. The logic may be further configured to select, based upon the image group, a colorspace transform mechanism being operative to transform the image data into transformed image data in accordance with another colorspace model, the other colorspace model having a higher likelihood than the colorspace model at edge detection for the image group. The logic may be further configured to apply the colorspace transform mechanism to the image data to generate the transformed image data in accordance with the other colorspace mode and then, apply an edge detection technique to the transformed image data.     Abstract: A video tagging system that can generate tags corresponding to associations of object-related keywords mentioned in a video to time instances in the video is described. The video tagging system identifies a particular object associated with a video. Using a transcription of audio content within the video, the video tagging system determines a keyword mentioned in the audio content that is associated with the object and a time instance within a timeline of the video when the keyword is mentioned. The video tagging system generates a tag that associates the keyword with the time instance and sends an indication of the tag to a user device. Once the video is displayed on the user device, the user can search for the keyword. This prompts the user device to display a marker indicating the time instance when the keyword is mentioned.
