  • Patent number: 9237132
Abstract: Methods and systems for balancing load among firewall security devices (FSDs) are provided. According to one embodiment, a switch maintains session data the session entries of which represent established traffic sessions between a source and a destination and form an association between the traffic session and a particular FSD. A data packet of a traffic session from a client device directed to a target device is received at the switch. When none of the session entries are determined to correspond to the data packet, an FSD is selected to associate with the first traffic session by performing a load balancing function on at least a portion of the data packet. When a matching session entry exists, an FSD identified by the matching session entry is selected to process the data packet. The data packet is then caused to be processed by the selected firewall security device.

  • Publication number: 20150381118
Abstract: Methods and devices for eliminating a systematic imbalance and reducing variations in circuit parameters for a high gain amplifies. A bias generator having a copy of an actual amplifier branch and an already generated bias voltage can be added to the amplifier to generate a bias voltage for a final current source at a current summing node so as to eliminate systematic imbalance in the bias current. A high impedance node can be wired in the bias generator such that all devices in the bias generator are in saturation across, for example, PVT (Process, Voltage and Temperature) corners in order to minimize tracking errors. A degeneration transistor similar to a differential pair element can be split into two equal halves.

  • Publication number: 20150380419
Abstract: Undesirable metal contamination from a selective metal deposition process can be minimized or eliminated by employing a first material layer on a bevel and a back side of a substrate, while providing a second material layer only on a front side of the substrate. The first material layer and the second material layer are selected such that a selective deposition process of a metal material provides a metal material portion only on the second material layer, while no deposition occurs on the first material layer or isolated islands of the metal material are formed on the first material layer. Any residual metal material can be removed from the bevel and the back side by a wet etch to reduce or prevent metal contamination from the deposited metal material.

  • Publication number: 20150375296
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for mechanically reducing an amount of the skull material in a finished, molded part formed from amorphous alloy using an injection molding system. Skull material of molten amorphous alloy can be captured in a trap before molding such material. A cavity can be provided in the injection molding system to trap the skull material. For example, the cavity can be provided in the mold, the tip of the plunger rod, or in the transfer sleeve. Alternatively, mixing of molten amorphous alloy can be induced so that skull material is reduced before molding. A plunger and/or its tip can be used to induce mixing (e.g., systematic movement of plunger rod, or a shape of its tip). By minimizing the amount of skull material in the finished, molded part, the quality of the part is increased.

  • Publication number: 20150382045
Abstract: A control server receives a local input to control a remote video device and sends an indication of the local input to the remote video device to control, access, or operate the remote video device. Video data indicative of images provided by the remote video device in response to the local input are relayed to the control server by the remote video device or associated components. A plurality of remote video devices can be simultaneously controlled, accessed, or operated. Control code sets for remote video devices are mapped to a local interface control set. • Patent number: 9224221
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method of providing an arranged display of data associated with a set of time periods is presented. In this method, values of a first data type are accessed, the values being observed during each of multiple time periods. An order for the time periods is determined based on the values of the first data type. A selectable region for each of the time periods is displayed, the regions being arranged according to the order. In response to a user selection of one of the selectable regions, a value of a second data type is displayed, the value of the second data type being observed during the time period of the selected one of the selectable regions.
